I second that!

I apologize that I can't find the source, but I believe they are working on the radar. I think I read that around 2-3 months ago. If I find it I will edit my post.

Northern Israel / Southern Lebanon detail removed
WTFCSon replied to Flying Toaster's topic in Bugs and Problems
If there is some kind of legal reason to push Onretech to remove part of their product, customers deserve an official statement on the matter so that we can avoid any more he said/she said like what’s happening between ED and Razbam. You can have your sides internally, but we just want to fly cool planes and put warheads on foreheads in cool places. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Stepping on toes of other creators or not, this is not how the customer should find out part of the product they already paid for has disappeared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
WTFCSon replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Absolutely loving this mod so far! I am really impressed with how the flight model feels. It's touchy, no doubt, but my brain is getting the hang of it. Finally got multiple successful take off and landing, and I got her to hover for me! Very well done! -
You think the bullpup will show up on other aircraft
WTFCSon replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Unless there is a panel that wasn't modeled because of this, I don't think the A-4E has the controls for the bullpup. -
Can I cheat by starting light on fuel?

1 in 2 Sparrows doesn't track the target in STT
WTFCSon replied to MavOne96's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
When you say "tracking rate" do you mean "kill rate"? Or are the missiles truly not tracking at all once leaving the rail? -
While I doubt we'll have this aircraft anytime soon, I am interested to see what kind of Electronic Warfare(EW) improvements ED adds. Even if it's only best effort, it might make some version of this jet possible.

Community A-4E-C v2.3 (May 2025)
WTFCSon replied to plusnine's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I'm not asking you to ditch head tracking forever. Just trying to gather info to see if I can help. If you can see the forward view without head tracking then it's likely something related to your head tracking setup. "I'm not uninstalling all of the mods I've added since (that do work) to get this one so that it might work. " If there were no other mods installed at the time of testing then there is no need to do this.... Is your head tracking operating smoothly? Do you use trackir, delanclip or something else? I'm guessing you've looked at the Opentrack interface while dealing with this issue? -
Community A-4E-C v2.3 (May 2025)
WTFCSon replied to plusnine's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Do you have any other mods installed? If so, remove all mods other than the A-4 and retry. Have you updated your graphics drivers lately? To clarify, when you say " every cockpit view except the forward view" do you mean that using head tracking you can look left and right, but when you start to look forward the screen turns black? What type of head tracking are you using? Does the problem still exist if you don't use head tracking? -
Were you using your own mission, mission packaged with the module or a DCS community made mission? Either way, any chance you can post .miz file or even a .trk file? Just curious if I can help reproduce.

There's already a report to Deka, who has reported it to ED. As far as I know it is "mostly" ED related, but i am sure that they are working together as much as they can.

Concerns about G-Onset and Damage to wings
WTFCSon replied to ElvisDaKang's topic in Bugs and Problems
Just to clarify, I’m not asking you to DOX anyone, just wondering if they have videos or posts on the forum I can checkout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Concerns about G-Onset and Damage to wings
WTFCSon replied to ElvisDaKang's topic in Bugs and Problems
I've flown in MP servers, again haven't had an issue. Who's the 20 year pilot you're talking about? I'd love to see his comments. -
Concerns about G-Onset and Damage to wings
WTFCSon replied to ElvisDaKang's topic in Bugs and Problems
I really haven't had an issue with any of this. It takes a little bit of learning, but once you get a feel for that threshold it is very difficult to snap the wings unless you're doing something you really shouldn't be. While I won't argue about the accuracy to real life (I've never flown a fast jet), this isn't an "issue" that's hard to avoid. -
Understood, I’m not arguing how new the issue is. Track files always help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was doing some SEAD practice last night (so I got shot at a lot), but I never noticed this issue. I would try to get a short trk file uploaded right away. Maybe someone else can view it and see if they notice something.

Did they say they were going to add that capability this patch?
-
Interesting, I've got some testing to do to prove this to myself. I refrain from commenting further until OP provides more details.

Thank you for your correction...

How fast, how high and in what configuration(stores, flaps, gear, etc.)? After enter 30 degree of bank, how long does it take for the jet to roll back to 0? Does it roll all the way back to 0? Does it roll past 0? I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is expected behavior. Most analog jets are inherently stable and thus will generally want to return to wings level flight. Not until you hop in s FBW jet will you be able to "set" a degree of bank with the stick and then be able to go hands off. I will acknowledge that there are exceptions and some jets are more stable than others.

Looks awesome!

Absolutely, that or the f-5, MiG-21, Mig-19, Viggen, F-86, etc. Any older analogue jet will give you intuition for how gentle you will have to be, and how much trouble you can get yourself into if you aren’t. I’ve heard from one F-4 pilot that was on The Fighter Pilot podcast that it lands a bit like the F-5/T-38. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
