  1. For me everything seems to be running good. Definitely smoother than 2xMSAA. DLAA with sharpness set all the way to the right, looks as good as DLSS set the same. Same performance too. The crop fields flicker with DLAA though. So I'm sticking with DLSS. I do notice a bit of scenery lag and some ghosting here and there, but I can live with it. Haven't tried TAA. SSS turned on. Don't remember if I had SSS turn on with DLAA to see if it made a difference with the flickering fields. I Have secondary shadows turned off, as well as the setting above it. Might turn those on too. Overall, very nice release. Well done ED. Can't wait for Vulkan now. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  2. Anybody using a Reverb G2 and Nvidia (I have a RTX 3090) that has found good settings to use or start with?
  3. Pretty sure SteamVR uses OpenXR too. OpenXR is way better than OpenVR though, and the latter will eventually be deprecated. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  4. Well looks like the new 2.9 update also included FSR 2. :) Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  5. So we don't need to add the string to the DCS.exe anymore? Is this true for the Steam version too?
  6. Wrong. DLSS 3 has Frame generation which is exclusive to RTX 4000 series cards. Yes a seperate feature and makes the naming convention weird, But there is no official Nvidia support for DLSS 3 on 3000 (or older) series cards. Regardless if there are features that would otherwise work with othe RTX series cards. DLSS 3.5 supports all RTX series cards, but Frame Generation is still only unlocked with RTX 4000 series cards. DLSS 3.5 is barely a month old though. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  7. They have. DLSS will be in 2.9 (the next patch) and FSR at a later time. Because 3.0 is RTX 4000 series only and 3.5 only just came out.
  8. DLSS.
  9. This should be in the Map Wish list section.
  10. Like others have said, Nvidia has At Least 75% market share in DCS. Outside of DCS, Nvidia is capturing 90% of GPU sales. Going off that alone, it makes perfect sense to start with DLSS. Not to mention that DLSS is much better than FSR. At least up until FSR 3.0, which just came out yestsrday. ED have said they will add FSR later, which is honestly better for AMD users since it will hopefully be 3.0. Who knows, maybe even XeSS will be added at some point. The next gen Intel cards are looking pretty good based on current rumors. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  11. I also want to give a huge shoutout to @BIGNEWY and the rest of the ED team for the sneak peak. We often ask for some kind of update/status, and you guys really delivered with this one. I and I know many others, really appreciate the transparency. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  12. Looking forward to the update. Wasn't expecting DLSS so soon. Thank you all for the hard work.
  13. I'm assuming you mean MT (multithreading). Honestly I don't think there is much difference between the bugs in MT vs St at this point. Not enough difference to maintain two cores anyway. While we haven't had much MT patches, it's likely they were saved/tested for a bigger patch release. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  14. My guess is the main update for 2.9 will be MT becoming default.
  15. If I'm not mistaken, Ray Reconstruction will also work on 2k and 3k cards with DLSS 3.5. Cyberpunk just requires (or required) that Frame Generation be enabled for Ray Reconstruction to work. However, I believe that has been resolved with the latest Nvidia driver.
  16. Aermacchi MB-326 and Atlas Cheetah African Border War
  17. Can we add the Aermacchi MB-326 and Atlas Cheetah to this tracker.
  18. I'm all for keeping the weapons and frames proportionate to the timeframe. If xx weapon was never available for xx aircraft, then it shouldn't be modeled in DCS. This is a SIM. ED already said there will be no more FC3 aircraft, so drop it already. If you have nothing to contribute, then you shouldn't be here giving ED a hard time. Especially when (in most cases) it is the same people complaining about the cost of modules. Maybe War Thunder or something else is more up your alley if you want DCS to go the way of Ace Combat.
  19. Turns out that I have been doing the same thing and wouldn't have known otherwise if it were not for this thread.
  20. Oh ok. Appreciate the feedback! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  21. Possibly. I'll check if OC launches when I get on again. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  22. I just haven't had any issues with the way it is and didn't want to add the force command to the exe. I actually didn't even realize that the command string wasn't needed with MT until yesterday. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  23. I have a pretty good experience with a G2. I get some jitter, but I think that's just DCS. I use OpenXR with OpenComposite. Do not have the OpenXR Toolkit installed. Just OpenXR Tools for WMR from the Micrsoft Store. System is 11700K, Z590 mobo, 64GB RAM, RTX 3090, M.2 NVME drives.
