Releasing it in this format only hurts the community. You could have developed a method for encrypted viewing of the model in the model viewer and then released the full version. Another "feature" released to "fill the hole".

It would be nice to see english betty. Polish MiGs had her.

It will be encrypted. Such a shame.

Will Barracuda be able to create a firing solution for electromagnetic threats? This is one of the most important features of it in real jet.

I can't understand why ED even specified what block and timeframe the F-35A would be. This aircraft is enough of a frankenjet in real life. Block 4.1/.2 airframes fly with 40P01 software that was meant for IOC Block 3F. If Lockheed itself does not have power over it at times, why should ED do so, especially given the lack of public documents and information about the fat amy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 35A is already ongoing software upgrade to be capable of employing legacy HARM on external STAs.

Also super limited on the FCS.

Sorry for derailing the thread, but what is the point of developing pre-IOC block?

This photo confirms that 4 decoys can be mounted.

Wheel chocks toggleable for every aircraft
EchoOneOne replied to ProfiNerd's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I completely agree, sometimes the lack of chocks is problematic, e.g. during alignment -
I think the team should consider some kind of public board like Trello that shows the team's priorities.

You do realize that many people use this simulator for serious flying where checks matter? In that case I don't know why FF aircrafts are developed.

It's been a long time since this proposal, and it still hasn't been implemented. The funniest thing is that I managed to mod it by adding a few lines in LUA, in practically 5 minutes.

This is not about "extra off", they simply need to be turned off for certain reasons, mostly because of MX safety.

Even though the flight manual and maintaince manual do not require it, most of squadron's SOPs and checklists require this state. I would like the devteam to consider this change, because it would really add a realistic feel to this simulator. ENG FEED: OFF EPU: OFF C&I: BACK UP ANTI-COLL: OFF MASTER COVERT: OFF FORM: OFF AERIAL REFUELING: OFF All AUDIO 1 and AUDIO 2 knobs should be in OFFposition (not including the intercom knob) RF: Silent VV/VAH: OFF ATT/FPM: OFF ALT RADAR: AUTO All lightning knobs should be in OFF position AIR SOURCE: OFF OXY SUPPLY: OFF ANTI-ICE: OFF

It would be nice to see options to import the entire DEST tab (OA1/2, UTM, DIR), VIP and most importantly VRP via DTC using MPD format. Manually entering this data every sortie is cumbersome. This is a must-have for many squadrons.

The beacon mode is useful for locating beacons that have a known beacon delay. When the beacon mode is accessed, the avionic system adjusts the range position of the radar cursor and beacon return on the display to compensate for the entered time delay.null

Where do you expect to get any data on this missile since it is not operational, only in the test and evaluation phase? The only hope is the future addition of ARM in the DCS for the F-35A is the integration of Legacy HARM that Lockheed is currently working on.

Let's be honest, no matter what block you choose, it will still be Block 3F. Anything less would be a waste of developer resources. I don't understand why you would spend so much time creating mission systems, sensor apertures and sensor fusion via ICP just to create an aircraft with strictly limited FCS and armament, and no gun software on top of that.

Still there's no info about STA 2/3 and 9/10.

It's in the -34, not pilot's guide.

Sorry, but these videos bring nothing new to the table. Stuff that matters is behind the OPSEC.

I’d like to ask for some clarification regarding the planned weapon loadouts for the F-35A module in DCS. Specifically, I’m curious whether the external pylons STA 2, 3, 9, and 10 with BRU-68/A racks are going to be implemented. It would be great to know if the option for external stores is planned. I’ve looked through the FAQ, and it doesn’t seem to indicate that these stations will be included—mainly because there’s no mention of the types of ordnance typically carried on those pylons. It’s worth noting that these external pylons were certified during SDD certification program back in 2015, so it fits the timeline. Any insight from the developers would be much appreciated.
