I'm guessing RB told him why they weren't getting paid

And that's an honest worry, Hell, the Hawk 'guarantee' was what gave me trust in handing ED $80 per virtual plane But here we are with the F-15 nuked, 1 year in public, 5 years after people have been told this problem was dealt with So,..which modules are still under the old stipulations? Seems everything announced and under development ATM which isn't ED's can be relegated to abandonware when things go sideways
-
I'm gonna push your butt against the stove for this one: So, which 3rd party modules would be lost to updates if their developer decides to not work with you anymore? It's ok you don't have that info, someone at ED does and can tell you.

3 out of 8 motors on my OG HFS8 already failed and this is with about 30 minutes total use since I bought it 2 years ago

Looking for a Warthog stick extension..
Nightdare replied to sharkfin61's topic in 3D Printing for DCS
Might want to ask the guys at https://qr4rigs.com/ if they have something that compares or if can make you one -
Might wanna check the axes keybinds in game

I have a twist version since release, with the idea I could also us it with Elite Dangerous, locked it the first time I mounted it, never unlocked it since

What I saw in my windows was P6 activating from zero position on the physical dial, then stopping when it's end value was passed and P7 starting to activate halfway open once it's start value was passed I'll see if I can give it another whirl later today

Major difference in those 2 Ok few points: I still use an OLD version of VPC software, 2023 I believe, no idea if this woks with newer versions I tried this on my trusty Gen 1 T50 Mongoost, no idea if this works on newer units You probably want to calibrate axes prior to changing values I haven't tried this in game, because I don't wanna fiddle with THOSE setting, but it seems to do what I want in Windows Joystick This is what I quickly came up with screwing around like a headless chicken methodical programming: Step 1: copy the axis you want to use as '2-parter' You'll get an error about DirectX not allowing 2 axes with the same name Rename the new Axis to an unused element, In my example P6 'Dial' is the original, P7 'Y' the duplicate axis: Keep the axis ID's the same: values set for P6 "Dial": Note: I'm unsure if you have to use 50% output, seemed logical to me as you use half of the physical axis per logical axis As I stated, what I tried seems to do what you intend, try and see I guess? Values set for P7 "Y": Now you can increase the difference between value end for P6 (7912) and P7 (7913) allowing a bit of a deadzone between the 2 (Hell, you might be able to overlap as well) You might also be able to reverse P6 values, then center would be its respective lowest value, and in physical operation it should operate like a speaker balance knob But I'll leave that to you to figure out Good lick fiddling!

For all it's negative sentiments and the mess it leaves behind, total war has some advantages when trying to reach a solution

Hey all, anybody have a good source for epoxy/silicon caps to stick on small keys, these need to be no bigger than 9mm I can use some added points of reference on my WW PFP-7 in VR

That's a lot of money for a grip that doesn't offer little more than a Constellation Grip
-
In short: Nope A rotary is not a pot, but basically 2 buttons, that are triggered twisting a knob their set direction Unless you can find a 'click counter' in the Virpil software, to translate button presses to axis values, there is no way you can assign a 'value range' You can us the rotary as a toggle though, <-Light 1 on/off | Light 2 on/off ->

By this stage in the war, the zero's weren't given enough fuel to return anyway, so who cares about tailhooks?
-
I'm guessing those that truly want that F16 'feel' would opt for that throttle But in more generic circumstances, single throttles can only control a single engine, whereas the dual throttles can pull double duty The Viper is also a bit more money than the 'most expensive' dual grip Ex II with finger lift kit It's also not a throttle you'll be swapping with other grips often (though swapping throttle grips probably isn't much of a thing among users anyway)
-
Hell, Star Citizen might even be released prior to VKB releasing their linear throttle So indeed an actuator Looked at modding my Orion2 with such things to create auto-throttle functionality I'll admit I'm not their market, but wish them the best Personally, I think offering this 'on-demand' to any fans would be a bit safer than trying to create a mass product with help of crowd funding Not saying it isn't possible, but looking at the current commercial market and its players, it's gonna be tough to get in at high end
-
If the VFX grip is incompatible, then every other grip including their brand new expensive Flanker grip would be unusable for their FFB offering I'm pretty certain that will kill off any future for their FFB products, and most goodwill of previous owners to ever bother with Virpil again
-
I don't get it Did I miss any news the old Virpil grips won't work on their new FFB base? If not, why wouldn't any current grip like the VFX work on it?

I have the WW F-18 UFC I have the Harrier, not 1:1, but most functions are there at least ....But it also doubles as the ACM/Display/Nav panels for the F-14, it also doubles to control the lighting for the Spitfire,, even more for the functions on the top dash of the Mozzy, it also doubles for controlling the HDU for the Apache Mind: I never said I owned the F-18, I don't, yet there I am, using "its" UFC even on Archaic Warbirds

First off, that's a flawed assumption, VR let's you see the cockpit in 3d as any Flightsim player desired since 1985 It does exactly as advertised But you are asking for a way to translate movement in VR to RL without any trouble This is only possible if things are 1:1 What do you suggest, apart from modular button boxes that can easily be reconfigured to the module your playing? (still have to be 1:1 though) I gave you an example of not being satisfied with the Status Quo, and that's the Warthog Project Which is built without VR in mind, but very much applicable, but already way beyond $10K in peripherals,... and as DIY has a s a lot of savings on labor You want your cake and eat it too Pancake: Monitor Beer Goggles: VR Headset

I'm pretty sure you are not looking in the right places 4:43 You know you can search keybinds in this pulldown menu?:
