  1. Since it won't accept VPC/TM grips, nor is known if they will support them (at the very least need a discontinued WW adapter) I will not be 'waiting' for their offering (These things proportions also seem to be a little less practical for pit building)
  2. Tried a Bodnar board? https://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=180&zenid=eda9358b6d8e5b4cc885d8003135928f The smaller one might even suffice for what you wish to set up: https://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=204&zenid=477f6e235b8e167bf85f03fcc00bddc0 They're pretty KISS and have a very simple bit of software to append buttons/encoders etc
  3. Not a valid excuse when receiving that amount of money to not look for an approved PSU, and if it's about liability also shows a lack of faith in one's own product
  4. I think it's rather insulting to charge such an amount and then still require your customers to source their own $40 power supply
  5. It works perfectly for the covered APU in my Apache, Asym limiter in my F-14 and starter switch for my Huey, though I must admit I'm spoiled for options with an added Orion 2 and DIY button panel
  6. No, you can use the unit as 4x32 in DCS as well BUT (IIRC) you'll see 4 almost identically named WinWing devices in DCS keybind manage, yet they use a 'different' parts of the hardware unit, good luck finding out which is which If you decide to change it from 128 to 4x32 (or vice versa) You'll have to reprogram the keybinds for all 4 'devices' separately, you cannot reuse the 128 button keybind .Lua ...I believe you can use a background program like Vjoy to configure 128 buttons to 4x32 for BMS/4x32 to 128 buttons for DCS, so you wouldn't need to switch in SimApp
  7. The f-16 has a very short stick in the first place so of course adding an extension wreaks havoc on any FBW attempt
  8. Virpil has an apache grip available: https://virpil-controls.eu/vpc-dual-sf-collective-grip.html
  9. I grabbed a hand saw and a file
  10. Well, got the ARC in and installed Marvelous little piece of kit, the 'real' test function of the LCD screen is a fun detail If code was available this could also be used for the A10 ARC-164, since that is almost equal in function/display, but button layout, ...then again, I'm in VR so for me, a display is already candles on the cake.
  11. Apart from the 2060 "super"'s every other 'super' was an EOL release
  12. Aren't the supers merely blowout stock of slightly 'off' GPU silicone at end of life?
  13. Got @Szketya95 's ARC-159 in. Did some necessary rearranging, managed to salvage most of my "AFCS" panel, and place it on the 'correct' side of the 'console', made a 1-piece plate for the right side with a cutout for the ACR. Had just enough room to not only squeeze my "Target Designate Switch" on the baseplate between the Virpil and Arc, but also a small gap between the left and right baseplate allowed me to route the wires there without having to drill through the plate. The VKB SEM, for the moment, will remain a placeholder for functions I'll eventually incorporate with switches and buttons into the console, as is, I got 21 terminals still available on the Bodnar for that. Now time to get the ARC communicating with the game.
  14. Something similar for me, got some NACA vents added by a Mig 21 Managed a maneuver kill after Jester bailed out, leaving me flying a convulsing convertible Turkey on physical compass because hud and screens were dead, luckily gear and hook worked, but going for the trap was like driving a car with a front wheel missing
  15. With my game drive full, having to separate DCS from the rest, later buying a 4TB drive and rearranging everything, I have shifted my DCS (non steam), Steam AND drive letters the past few months, and had no problems just cutting and pasting the files from/to drives, only shortcuts were screwed up Only had to check in steam which drive the game install was designated
  16. Have you correctly calibrated your axes (Idle and afterburner points)?
  17. Well, my right sidewall seems to be finished 2 Leo Bodnar BBIO 64's, 125 terminals total, some liberties taken as a few extra buttons, since this still needs to work for more modules than just the F-14 Made 1 mistake in having a 2-position toggle for windshield defog, instead of 3-position, which I technically could fix, since I have 1 terminal left on a Bodnar board But I think I can manage I might do a revision on my left sidewall, but I'll look into that once I received @Szketya95 's ANC-159
  18. Uhm,... Winwing themselves? https://eu.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=347
  19. I'll be damned,.. the cover is upside down:
  20. That leaves JUST the 5080 as the 9070 isn't performing on the level those 2 you mention
  21. Unsure, looks like a big slider, best I can make out
  22. chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/f-14b The controls are under the rail, out of view
  23. I get most generic switches, buttons wires, etc on Ali
  24. Still sounds like a PSU problem to me, as if the capacitors aren't holding enough charge to supply the initial high peak at cold start
  25. Hey there @Szketya95 Mind me asking what the physical dimensions are for the ARC159 and 182?
