Yes, I don't really know what you are trying to say here. You want to be able to see through trees with a normal camera?

Black shark, anything that annoys you ?
Irregular programming replied to m1tp2king's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
This is like complaining that the p51 doesn't have a targeting pod. -
It will be fixed and start working like an arcade game again.

How can i shut my noisy friends?
Irregular programming replied to coolpoint's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Or you know listen to what he says. -
If you have time to mark all your targets, and return to base three times I do think you also have time to let the laser cool down. :smilewink:

How to disable engine exaust trail?
Irregular programming replied to Kenan's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
The default values look pretty much exactly like all the videos I've seen of engine smoke. :music_whistling: -
Trackir 5 and the infamous "pro clip?"
Irregular programming replied to Kybosh's topic in View System
All they needed to do was to use proper plastic and not the cheapest possible. The trackir unit uses the same shitty plastic just to pry as much money out of their customers as possible. -
Warm mercury.

I found it in the manual, the range finder is good for. 16 cycles of 10 seconds with 5 sec interval between the cycles. With a minimum time interval between series 30 minutes. If you follow that you can use your laser indefinitely it's not finite (in game). But I think it can deal take a lot more than that before it stops working.

Hey, welcome. In the folder where you installed BS2 there is a Doc folder, in there is a pdf with tips for keybinding your X52 (why I don't have a clue, but it's there) (maybe the game auto maps the X52 for you, DCS: A10 auto maps the warthog so you don't have to do any key bindings at all)? There is no indicator, there is a best practice someplace possibly in the manual but I just can't find it right now. However you should never run out of laser during normal use, you can use it to fire all your vikhirs and still have lots of uses left. Basically how it works is that when you soft lock the ground it will fire for three seconds, a vehicle or a target it will fire for eight seconds if you fire a vikhir it will fire for either as long as the vikhir takes to reach its target or thirty seconds (whichever is less). I believe the rule is that you can safely use it for 16 vikhirs before cool down, so that's 8 + 30 * 16 seconds worth of firing. To cool down the laser you need to wait 30 minutes, I think that if you do not wait for 30 min it will reset so if you waited 25 min and fired again it wouldn't count. Even here this rule gives you a lot of leeway, I would not be surprised if you can't fire off at least two full loads of vihkirs and still have the laser working fine. I've never burned it during a mission after I knew that it actually could burn out. Just don't go around and mark everything you see and you'll be fine.

 There has been no such promises made at all. The current devs doesn't even need to give you any of the things you gave money for, beczl studios doesn't exist anymore, and when you give money to crowd funding you are never buying anything, you are giving away money that's it. The current devs choose to give their work away for free by paying out of their own pocket, please don't be so annoyingly entitled and complain about it. Instead be glad that you will be flying this at all. [edited for brainlapse]

AFM system difference: F-15C vs Su-25(T)
Irregular programming replied to uboats's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
I haven't really tried the F-15 but the time I did I did some really rough landings in it, can't really say it has bad gears. -
I'm using this method. http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=59385385 It's only afaik only applicable to ps3 controllers. And as I said, I don't know how FC2 works. I can't really help you with setting it up as I've never actually used the controller in game. Except for one time when I forgot to disable it and got a bunch of input from it. :P

The XBox 360 controller works fine as it's detected as just another joystick by direct X. I have a PS3 controller attached to my computer through 360 emulation and it's detected by the keymapper. I have however never gotten x360ce to work with any game at all, so I can't really help you there. (I was thinking DCS world but the premise should be the same, the 360 controller is just a game controller in windows just like any other peripheral.)

Found this facebook group earlier, promotes more realism in a sim
Irregular programming replied to PLAAF's topic in Chit-Chat
There are plenty of games around for every taste, so no, I am not gonna join some facebook group that you created telling other people that they can't play whatever games they want. -
Yeah, I've always assumed that the ground units where sadly lost during that process. But those screens look great, nice to see that everything is starting to fall into place. (what's the sun symbol in the last image?)

New DCS:Ka-50 and FC2.0 sound engine
Irregular programming replied to Distiler's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
This is most likely a bug, maybe something that your sound card doesn't know how to handle. I've heard it before in other software. -
