  1. Well done ED!! Yes we are in this together and this gesture helps. I see a module that is peaking my interest, but still enjoying what I have very much as the Ka-50 is a blast once again for me in VR!
  2. I will say this. ED do what's in your best interest, strike a balance to make sure there are no show stoppers and the OPEN BETA will be used what it's intended for to help flush out the problems and the community will hopefully understand and provide feedback to help continue improvement.
  3. So why answer questions there when you're likely to be torched for the smallest misspoken word as opposed to your home turf forums where it's more "tamed"?
  4. Depends on how long another few weeks is. There are many that have pre-paid and would like to see a return on their "investment". I am not saying I will be one of those that will be bringing the torch if there is a push out on the date, but there was an advertised time for release that some will likely get PO'd if missed. It has happened before.
  5. I was taking into account that we would get an update to the OB, as planned. And from that release the positive responses, if any, could be an indicator. If not, then all bets are off. :)
  6. Next week will be interesting to see if there have been significant strides made in the bug cleanup. If you see a lot of positive coming from the community then that could give an indication that we may see the super carrier released before the end of the month.
  7. Yeah that's a pretty good comparison! :D Over in reddit it reminds me of what SimHQ use to be, but a little more tamed. Not trying to be off topic, but please share the same openness here, IMO, where it should be.
  8. I have a nagging question, but why does it seem ED staff are more open to answering these type of questions on the reddit forums instead of their own in house forums? This is a perception that I am getting. I do appreciate the effort in trying to get a response though.
  9. I agree Squirrel. When it was announced back in January that was enough buffer time to release on time. I think every reasonable person will expect some bugs after the initial release like every module that has been released to date and the cleanup and bug squashing will continue thereafter.
  10. Let's try this again... https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4241126&postcount=2420
  11. I guess this demonstrates the value of the OB now. Not sure how t was not detected during closed testing. ED will get it resolved.
  12. The OB/EA model is good for ED to bring in early revenue. I'm sure most of their income depends on making new content available. Yes there is something to be said about quality and stable software otherwise we are not able to play and enjoy. If they just focused on bug squashing and constant cleanup with nothing new to offer how long do you think they would stay in business? There simply has to be a balance to stay afloat as a company.
  13. I agree! To me the current method is not broken so don't "fix" it. However I do wonder if we are to expect less frequent updates. Some have gotten spoiled in expecting an update every week and hammering with the question, in these forums "Will there be an update this week"? With a lot of new technology and improved methods on approach to coding things just simply take more time now. I see that it may be a possibility in a way to curb the expectations in the frequency in updates to come.
  14. Is RAZBAM still planning their own module?
  15. Maybe you should post in the bug report and show your system specs. No one knows if your system is inadequate to handle DCS? :dunno:
  16. Thanks Matt. We can quit wrestling with the suspicion now.
  17. I noticed this also, but my question does the wing stand that high of the carrier deck on the Hornet?
  18. On this Valentines Day show ED some love! Thank you for the up coming patch!
  19. The communication is appreciated BIGNEWY!
  20. Maybe six times the charm? :music_whistling: It is crazy though.
  21. Sounds like things are on the up and up then a third party wishes to pursue.
  22. I hope whoever pursues this module doesn't run into a roadblock as far as permissions from Grumman to bring it into DCS. I recall them shutting it down for the IL2 Pacific Fighters. I was sooo looking forward to this plane and I still do. Hopefully Grumman wont step on our wishes. We do have the F-14 so I am hopeful even more today.
  23. Why today being it's Tuesday? I was under the impression that Wednesday are typical "patch release" days. With that being said... How's the confidence level, if I may ask, for this week?
  24. It is where the heart of every module will shine, so yes I am happy to see so much focus on the core as well.
  25. I fixed that for you Tek. ;) I know you are passionate about the Flanker and it is an awesome aircraft. I will disagree with you, however, the F-18 is now the cornerstone for the series with it ushering in naval operations. Don't beat me up too bad man on MHO. :)
