Quick question out of curiosity. What is the preferred weapon/sensor when it comes to ASW? Providing that more mission building leans toward naval assets in the future?

Hornet ground radar isn't necessarily the same as the Viggen's :music_whistling: I agree with you Nooch. It appears that ED has a different path for implementing the A2G technology. It will likely set the framework for other developers to use down the road. I would not be surprised if the Viggen gets a rework to implement ED's A2G tech.

I believe early on it was understood that both planes had a lot of similar tech that was being developed and they would borrow from each other in development. That's the way I saw the plans early on. If anyone that has been around long enough in this community they would understand that SUBJECT TO CHANGE creeps up often and shouldn't debate it, but accept it for the greater good to keeps our hobby going. We have come a looonnng way in this series and we now have access to two very popular fighters with access to systems that I never thought could/would be developed. Take a step back and let that soak in for a moment!

I was wondering with all the December love that's coming for the Hornet does it possibly include the introduction of the carrier module also? It seems to be close with all the EA talk going on about it.

I wonder if there are plans for crew reaction during a foul deck! It's gonna happen you know! :D

My question as well Outlaw. Lots of talk of EA, but no release window yet. I wonder if Q1 (Jan-Mar) of 2020 is doable. By the looks of of how things are progressing it seems possible, but that's on the surface. Probably lots of coding to be done that could take much longer. Thanks for the development update ED staff! :thumbup:

Although I appreciate the update I agree I was expecting a bit more. This was more like a development update. Again, it was still good.

How so? ED makes a business decision on what they see as the higher priority and it's a joke? Apparently they're doing something right because they're still around and growing stronger in their continued development of DCSW. Don't take this as fanboy talk, but look at the proof of what they have delivered to us so far. It all takes time and we simply can't have it our way all the time.

There have been a lot of complaints lately about them not completing existing modules, which there are many! I have no heartburn either way on the decision to delay Cobra and Phantom. The F-16 and F-18 are keeping me plenty busy when I have the time. Coupled with the release of new systems and weapons I have my plate full already. :) Also I guess with reallocating some staff to help with updates to the core game itself it helps me in supporting the decisions. Keep enjoying what we have already my friends and appreciate the added transparency they are giving us with the development reports also. :)

It is an open beta so yes if you are using the OB version you are a beta tester. :music_whistling:
