  1. @MAXsenna I only reinstalled the map through the module manager via the launcher. So fly a mission on afghan and copy the log?
  2. Some Rotorheads Action
  3. I got Afghan day one, I loved it and was thrilled for what was to come. Had to uninstall & reinstall, since then, I'm now on my 5th try this summer, I can't get textures to load anywhere properly. Buildings half render, trees are like 64bit 2d paper, cars are boxes. It's every install, I'm on standalone. No other map has this issue and everything else looks amazing. Aircraft load perfectly. Map plays smooth, mountains and ground terrain looks as it should. All objects are blocks and half load. No amount of time waiting resolves this. I purchased the entire map at launch and have everything checked as far as I know. I must be doing something wrong. Any advice where to start? Again, it's only afghan that's like this. Thanks in advance.
  4. same here, was nearly finished when this occurred. Now it happens every time I try and start it.
  5. I am extremely interested in trying this
  6. Following for release as well.
  7. Hello, hope all is well. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what could be throttling my update and download speeds specifically for DCS. Up until a few updates ago, I would be able to install or uninstall maps in minutes, and updates would take 15min max. I have 1.2gbs upload download isp speeds, sub 6ms. Is there a way to find something that is conflicting for DCS? Something that could throttle. I have an M.2 SSD as well. I am not sure why this is occurring or what has changed. I have had maps like Afghanistan installed in around 15 minutes yet now it will take close to four hours. Same with updates, small updates will take hours rather than three minutes. Any ideas, areas to start or explore. Seems this is isolated to DCS as other games or downloads do not follow these patterns. I have tried downloading 150gb games that take several minutes while a 40gb map for DCS will take four hours.... Thanks in advance.
  8. I use it daily with a finger mouse (slugmouse). It works great, never tried the in game hand tracking. I should compare.
  9. I must have turbomode enabled from when I used it for MSFS, I never needed turbomode, I will try disabling that and see if that fixes it.
  10. Looks good, and plays well! YES!!!!
  11. Perfect found it and turned that bypass on, hopefully that works around it. I play with Link Cable anyways so it's not like the HMD would ever lose power if left on. Thank you for the workaround if this works. I don't know what changed in the recent months.
  12. Oculus debug tool you say... I will look into downloading this right now, thank you!
  13. Hello y'all, been using the Quest 3 since launch in DCS and I have always been able to take the headset off and leave for either a break, or a brief moment to do something on the PC and return to the game no problem. As of the past few months anytime the internal sensor isn't blocked and I leave the headset while in game, it is a 100% guarantee DCS crash due the headset going into whatever mode it does when you take it off. This was never the case. I use link cable, I have Virtual Desktop but Link is better for me in DCS. This is a pain as if I am flying quite the distance and need or use the restroom or take care of something it's a guaranteed crash to desktop for DCS. This is the only game this occurs in. I tried taping over the sensor and this did not work. Anyone else encounter this, or have any ideas? Thank you.
  14. Little montage I made with vr and my motion simulator for helicopters
  15. Just got a motion rig for flying in VR, it's amazing, I can't believe how awesome it feels.

  17. https://youtube.com/shorts/vxwItB_kDcQ?si=jQsAFARei6-M-hsY Scouting for friendlies, couldn't bring smoke, so I was guiding them in with my location. Super awesome view of a close hellfire and explosion. In VR, I nearly pooped myself lol
  18. To combat this, I moved my mouse out of the Quests camera FOV, so my hand isn't captured by the tracking, this is purely an HTCC feature, Slugmouse is merely mouse clicks.
  19. Sorry haven't been around past few weeks. Yes I have the slugmouse, had it for a few months now, used it daily in DCS, I use it in the Apache a lot. I've gotten extremely good and quick with using it. I just can't get the power levers to move to idle so I use voice attack command for that. Otherwise everything works smoothly and I can't... I repeat CAN'T play without them in DCS. Just imagine the benefit of flying with a cyclic in vr in a helicopter and not having to take your hand off the cyclicbto find the mouse, find the cursor. I just use my left hand for basically everything unless I am in a trimmed hover or on the ground. Any specific questions hit me up, I'll try and pay more attention to the forums. Had some changes in life lately so I've been away from my pc.
  20. In just a short break from this thread, I am now over a dozen pages behind. So just my $.02, dots after update in VR on Quest 3 is so much better now. My interest would be if there's an option to have off/on... this can be the on. Kinda barely even noticeable in current state.
  21. Fast paced Apache Action
  22. Apache Action coming at you fast
  23. I have the slugmouse and use HTCC. It does work very well and I've become extremely good at them together. Having my hands tracked visually would be neat, using just the cursor is fine but my Quest is already tracking my hands so if someone figures a way to cross the threshold that'd be cool. As for being able to move your hand, with inside out headset tracking there's no way around that without external tracking separated from the headset.
  24. Idk, this is a video of max VR movement I can produce in a chair and using neck safer. This is in the CH47, which like the 64 is made by ED. They did it correctly on the 47, like the other helos. It should be this way consistently as it works and is has no visual conflicts. Just remove the head rendering in VR.... Ch47 NoHead.mp4
  25. Intended? This is not the case on other helicopters though, so what's the thought behind it on the Apache? The other helicopters just don't have a pilots head in VR. It's already a thing, just not the Apache so far as I've noticed on the helicopters I own. This saddens me to see this is on purpose, I feel like it's an oversight really. Otherwise a workaround is fly with pilot models off, which defeats the purpose altogether.
