I recently ran into an issue where my bass shakers essentially disconnect and I hear windows thought my bass shakers say "pc mode". I specially if I alt tab out of the game for a second. I can't get my bass shakers to reconnect unless I am in an aircraft and manually close and reopen ssa with sound module. The issue is solely the sound module, my seat never disconnects. Anyone else have any ideas?

Helicopters are like trailers to a vehicle, smaller, fine adjustments makes large movements. Larger, fine adjustments give longer time to see the adjustments. This a fair analogy?

Might I suggest Voice Attack program. It's free for a handful of commands, otherwise I think it's $10. In VR it works wonders. I use it for anything that I would be able to speak to a co-pilot or a crew chief. For example, in the Heuy I advise my "Crew Chief" to open the doors, of change ROE, I speak to my copilot and request he takes controls etc. Additionally I have all my radio menus F10 Menu and whatnot also set up via voice, so while flying I can state, load AT troops, and it will press (\, F10, F8, F5) automatically, SERVER SPECIFIC as an example. I even use it for esc, enter, backspace, typing, recordings, alt tab, you name it, endless options.

This is what mine looks like, as long as yours mimics this exactly you'll be golden.

I got it to work using that tool, both OH-6 and Oh-58 work, rotor whirl is missing but otherwise engine, turbulence, vrs, damage, flares, guns, missiles, ALL WORK! Just downloaded, pressed both enable buttons and the paths were pre populated, works well actually.

Just modify the one location, , no need to copy and add a new section, it doesn't effect the Huey. HOWEVER* I suggest making a duplicate folder prior to trying in the event it's messed up. It took me several tries to understand, it's more simple than it appears. Literally just adding UH-60L.

@KeyserSoze62Yes, it uses the Mi-8 not the SU-27, its pretty much fully adjustable as a helo. UH-60 feels great once setup. The first rotation of the rotors on startup....MAN it thumps every time.

City Search and Rescue

Anyone get the OH-6 mod to work with SSA? If so, how? I also don't want to lose my UH-60 if it's just swapping the models in the lua.

Wave Surfing

I have the mod mentioned, I am clearly not savvy enough to figure it out. I tried it on the OH-6 and the OH-58 and I can't get it to work, my Huey and Black Hawk work like a dream. I will be patient until it's implemented, I'm not savvy enough at this point.

I'd imagine there will be a profile for the OH-58 rather than having to modify like the UH-60. Black Hawk is a mod... Kiowa is an purchased modULE lol However I too feel the empty feeling of...not feeling the bird when flying now. I had no luck with even generic helicopter checked in the SSA menu.

Really looking forward to the OH-58 profile! Like a giddy child.

I'm playing on MT and I have a 4090. I've played with the shadow and graphic settings and haven't impacted it.

Was using flat. Changed them and it doesn't seem to have an affect, I'm using medium now with sss off.

I've had this issue since I got the game on two separate computers. Not sure how to fix this, I fly only helos and I have weird FARP texture issues. Attached is an example. The behavior is not always like this, sometimes the farps are black, and flash black, or have these weird shadows. In the first part of the video you can see it's a flat angled shadow and I can fly through it and it exists in the cockpit. This seems to be dynamic and happens in every sever, SP or MP and is only with FARPS. The flashes vary every time different than in this video. Sorry for the video quality, I lowered the quality to make is easy to upload. I have an i9 14900k, 4090, 64gb ddr5, everything in the game from my pc side runs fine, this is my only graphical issue, and it existed on my 3080ti before upgrading. I know this is from 2 years ago, i tried searching and instead of making a new thread let me first try asking here. DOF is currently having a sale. So the p series and H series aren't too far apart in price. Two part question. I want motion, I already have full haptics and I love it. My plan is to upgrade in time to the 6 dof. Now, I fly mainly helicopters only. Haven't even touched fixed wing. I have been eyeing DOF realities products for several months. Does anyone know if, with the new SFU gearboxes, if there is still a speed/torque/and Range of montion advantage to the P series over the H? And does that continue at the 6dof level. I know the P series is commercial quality. I am the only one who would be using this product, for personal use. So I don't think it's necessary for that purpose. So if after the SFU upgrade, the only difference is beefier motors, than I could save $700 and stick with the H series. However if ROM, speed and torque is still a factor, then the difference is $700 to get the P series right now. Thanks in advance.

Can someone please assist me. I recently got the UH-60L mod and can not figure out how to get simshakers working for it. I read online it can work. The only thing I found is this link and I am baffled by thisJoghurt's Techblog: SimShaker for DCS UH-60 Blackhawk (dg4sfw.de) Also I don't use the beta (simshaker), would that be the differene? I fly so much by feel in the game with shakers so flying without just feels awful in VR for me. Please help if anyone can point me in the right direction.
