  1. Noted. But can't whether this can be addressed through software, such as adjusting the panel’s default brightness.
  2. The engineers are currently working on the tracking algorithm. Regarding the display issue during night flights, are you referring to the bloom?

For questions or comments, reach out to a Pimax representative on Discord or OpenMR, or contact us via our support page. Customer Care Improvements We keep improving our Customer Care team, and with new team management we can now provide real-time feedback 7-24 in Pimax Play Chat, responding to issues within 3 minutes. Our system provides a video to guide users to resolve issues in Chat, and common issues can be resolved within 10 minutes. For extremely difficult issues, users can also submit a ticket, with a ticket processing cycle of 1-3 days. null Updated Production Schedule for Upcoming Products Products Production Timeline Crystal Super micro-OLED (headset & optical engine) Has started at the end of October Crystal Super 57 PPD QLED Optical Engines Completion expected by end of November Crystal Super Ultrawide QLED Optical Engines Completion expected in December Crystal Super Lighthouse faceplate Starts in December DMAS for Crystal Super pre-orders Backlog expected to clear within one month Ice Silk Foam Face Foam Backlog expected to clear within one month Learn more: https://pimax.com/blogs/blogs/updated-delivery-times-for-upcoming-products Crystal Super micro-OLED & Dream Air Prescription Lens Frame 3D Files Since both the Crystal Super micro-OLED and Dream Air use pancake lenses with Sony micro-OLED panels, glasses cannot be worn inside the headset. To help, we’re releasing the STP files for the lens frames so users and third parties can 3D print or modify prescription lenses. While the visual performance has received great praise, there is still a lot of performance to be gained in terms of the stability of the connection for all users. We do not want a product that works for nearly everyone, but for everyone. From the external beta test we have learned a lot, about user's room environments as well as different PC configurations and the impact these have on stability. We also are aware where these issues occur, in which part of the connection between the PC and headset. Hence, we're still working on improving the 60G Airlink before mass production and shipping, both on the hardware as on the software. This is not a total rehaul, but we want to really ship a fine-tuned product to everyone, not a beta version. Wireless PCVR is really a hard technological challenge both in image quality and connection stability and we have seen multiple other companies try this before, and we're aiming to provide (what we think) is a much better solution. But for this we unfortunatly still need some more time. The current ETA for the 60G Airlink shipment is set for next year. Users will get an email confirmation when we're nearing shipping.

  4. I’d suggest an easier method — open Pimax Play, connect your headset, click on the DCS icon, launch the game, and you should enter VR directly. In your case, try re-importing DCS into Pimax Play → My Assets. Also, before starting the game, you can set up the room settings or use Recenter in VR once the game is launched.

  5. For the time being, the refresh rate applies globally since the headset needs to be cycled for the change to take effect. However, I’ll forward this request to the dev team to see if there’s any possible workaround.
  6. Alright! Stay tuned — improvements and debugging are currently in progress.
  7. Lol, okay then. I was just worried you might share the headset with friends or family — using it without the correct IPD could make things worse.
  8. It may not related to the lenses tho.
  9. Black squares appearing when QV is enabled? Regarding the room settings not being saved — does this happen every time? The new background will be available in the next patch.
  10. It does, but it didn't in your case?
  11. Have you reported this to our support team and requested a replacement for the optical engine? Please keep me updated once you’ve received the replacement.
  12. Hey, Sorry to hear about the experience you had with us. Did our tech support team reach out to provide further assistance? If not, could you please share the ticket number with me? While waiting for the issue to be addressed, I can request an extension of your trial period. In the meantime, if you’re currently on the latest patch, you might want to try rolling back to version **1.41.2** to see if that helps.
  13. Have you received any further assistance from our support team? If not, could you please share the ticket number with me? What happened to the UW? Not feeling properly when putting it on?
  14. The module will be treated as an accessory, so it won’t come with a 14-day trial period. If there’s any issue with the module, we’ll offer a replacement or repair. I’ll double-check this with the team to confirm.
  15. Are you able to run DCS properly with the Crystal Super? If you want to switch the runtime back to **SteamVR OpenXR**, just click **“Set SteamVR as OpenXR runtime”**, and you’ll be able to switch back. If DCS isn’t displaying in the headset, do you have the **OXR Toolkit** installed? If so, try uninstalling it and see if that helps.
  16. You can run the latest version as well, but the driver compatibility issue may still persist.
  17. Sorry to hear that the 57PPD didn’t meet your expectations. Could you please share the ticket number with me? I’ll review it with the support team and urge them to assist further with the return or optical engine replacement.
  18. The patch is currently undergoing final inspection and is scheduled to go live by this weekend.
  19. I don’t have one yet, but I’ll register a new account. Could you please share the post link with me?
  20. The next patch is scheduled for release in mid-October, though there’s no exact date yet. The developers are currently conducting tests, and if no major bugs are found, my best estimate would be between October 17th and 20th.
  21. If you have any further questions, feel free to leave a comment below!

  22. Hi Durei, Could you please share the ticket number with me? If you don’t have one, please send me your email address via DM. I’ll take a look at your case and urge the team to sort it out promptly. There are plenty of setup guides available, but most users usually start with Tallymouse’s video and then tweak based on their preferences: https://youtu.be/Yt6MJMyte3Y?si=wb3fre1hx-G-9Lb5
  23. Have you tried tweaking the contrast and local dimming? Is the blown-out effect still being too annoying?
  24. Also, there will be a patch rolling out around mid-October that optimizes pi_server’s CPU utilization.
