  1. The team is working on this, as it’s not within ±1.5 mm during the IPD setup. Regarding the wFoV software solution, the experience may vary between users. Personally, I’ve had a similar experience to yours.

  3. Yes, I spoke with a few other users, and it seems that Pimax OpenXR is not working with mbucchia’s QV. The only workaround at the moment is to use PimaxXR with his QV. I’ve already submitted this bug to the development team.

  9. Apologies for the repeated delays and the lack of updates from the logistics team, despite the assurance that the shipment would be dispatched within 3–5 days of Customs clearance. I fully understand the frustration this has caused, and it is clear that proactive communication must be improved—particularly as we had informed the user they could expect to receive the headset within the specified timeframe. In addition, I have filed an internal complaint, and action has been taken.

  11. The rectangle becomes visible when foveated rendering is enabled, regardless of whether you're using PimaxXR or Pimax's OpenXR runtime. Alternatively, you could try disabling SSAO to see if that helps.

  13. Could you please submit a support ticket and report this issue to our technical support team? They may need to replicate the issue using your current settings to identify a suitable workaround. In the meantime, if you're using the QuadViews Companion tool, you might also try adjusting the focus FOV size to see if that helps.

    Super unhappy

    The developers are currently working on optimizing the auto-IPD feature. This improvement is expected to be included in the next patch, which is undergoing debugging and testing. This is because the scanning feature enables the camera to capture the surroundings and generate the chaperone boundaries. This feature was introduced in an earlier patch, implementing a no-controller logic for the headset. When controllers are not paired, the volume button is reassigned to bring up the overlay. However, some users have expressed a preference for a checkbox option to enable or disable this feature. I’ve forwarded this feedback to the developers for consideration. Have you tried disabling the “Headset as default audio output” option in the General tab? The engineers are optimizing the algorithm and revising the saved-data logic to address the issue of room setup data not being saved or being off after every boot-up. This update is likely to be included in the next patch.
