  1. ED knows, right? Interesting comment on Viper though not for this section of the forum. Maybe we could get something from @BIGNEWY? Absolutely 100% with you on this one. Dream come true!
  2. It is so great to see the tech is evolving, no more annoying clutter bubble with rocks / vegetation popping up as you taxi or fly down low. Big thanks for that! I love you.
  3. https://youtu.be/WV32Kn3ehok?t=5213 1:26:27
  4. Most likely it will be either 'automatic' or via additional TAB in ME. Would be neat if we could do it via the interface in the likes of Rearm - Refuel.
  5. 6500 m according to tech documents of the system
  6. Polish Airforce used a mix of original 9.12 (export variant for Warsaw Pact), ex Chech Air Force (exchanged for W-3 Sokol) and ex-German ones. Most of the aircraft were uplifted / upgraded to be relevant for NATO (Poles gave it the M designation) and only some of them were given to Ukrainian Air Force. Rest of Fulcrums still operate from 22nd Tactical Aviation Base in Malbork awaiting phasing out by FA-50PL aircraft.
  7. I wish the model isn't just smoking fuselage with huge flames coming off the falling wings. Spectacular, physics based destruction would be a much welcomed refresh to the DCS visual fidelity.
  8. Some book written in Russian that had its part translated to English by on another military aviation forum. Here are the pics: null
  9. Turbulence setting in options affects two things for me AAR or flying right in the wake of another aircraft, especially the large ones and carrier landing (but seems to be bugged) and turbulence value in ME affects landings and low flight where aircraft "wobbles".
  10. Staying on topic, sir, from the perspective of Fulcrum-A and its AI flight members GFM matters a lot.
  11. Manual is certainly good for general concepts, however bear in mind that G was adjusted to NATO requirements. Luftwaffe manual contains items that wil not be in DCS: Fulcrum-A
  12. For sure I am in love
  13. Yes, correct but so far all updates about GFM were showcasing its capabilities using Fulcrum: It was expected to be a thing in 2022 as per the original announcement (General Flight Model (digitalcombatsimulator.com)), but frankly I was looking forward to it in 2023. So perhaps it will come with Fulcrum. Perhaps in 2024.
  14. For sure! Cockpit reaction to the ariflow and stress is kind of DCS standard now for the new modules, is it not?
  15. The MiG-29 Lazur Data Link System: The Lazur Data link System is a two-way system, GCI-to-Fighter and Fighter-to-GCI. It is composed of the SAU-451-04 automatic control system, the E502-20/04 airborne guidance system, the R-862 radio, A-611 marker radio receiver, SO-69 ATC responder with the UNN block/K-42E kit, the ARK-19 radio compass, the TESTER-UZ/LK flight data recorder, and the ALMAZ-UP information reporting system. Transmitted target information is displayed on the HUD display. The "GUIDANCE" switch on the Air-to-Ground Panel must be "ON". A Data Link Frequency needs to be selected and a Data Link Mode selected from the "GCI SITE", "AIR TRAFFIC", or "TERMINAL" options. The system operates in the VHF frequency band and is effectively line-of-sight limited. It seems then ED has got some coding to do in the first place and GCI is not related to a particular aircraft, or there is not enough informtion (public + verified) to make it happen. I wonder how Razbam is going to do it for MLA, as I understood they said it is coming with MiG-23?
  16. Is it implemented with DCS Tomcat?
  17. Funny of you to think pricing while there was no announcement of what's included in the module. It will be priced at full price that ED wants and lots of people will buy it at that price. I saw a comment form the the ED boss that there won't be any reductions for FC3 as these are two separate products. But you know... everything is subject to change. Collects those ED miles while you can
  18. Officially it will have what is there in FC3, I doubt we will see HARM or JDAM implemented unless there is a public information as to how was it done regarding not only the pylons but also guidance and weapon interface (if there is any from the cockpit at all). SO expect Free fall bombs, cluster munitions dispensers, rockets. GCI - @Chizh seem to hinted there will not be initially, but it is hard for me to believe ED would omit such important item on the FULL FIDELITY version of the aircraft. Hell yeah for the 3x Immelmann on the first take-off !
  19. Which is: A/ in development B/ resource intensive C/ progressing albeit slowly
  20. It makes sense that HDD and HUD show the same information when you consider how it was developed. MiG-29 SEI-31 Fighter Unified Display System (SEI-31-01) is designed to display sighting, flight and navigation information on the ILS-31 windshield display and the IPV direct vision television display. The SEI includes: Windshield indicator (ILS-31), direct vision indicator (IPV), digital computer (DVM), character generator (CG), power supplies (BPN), interfacing and switching (BSK), digital processing (BCO). The digital computer and the blocks listed after it are located in the technical compartment of the aircraft. It was then further developed for the Sukhoi to improve on the information presented but not retrofitted into Fulcrum A.
  21. That's the point. Alike you could say we already have Abrams in the game, so why making the new one, right? Yes generators are in game, but remember that some of us enjoy visual fidelity, not only for the game itself but also for the content making. Not all of the gamers are into MP air to air, and those who build missions pay attention to stuff like this, otherwise ED would not bother at all.
  22. Soon DCS insurgents will feel at home near Bagram AFB
  23. First teased in 2019, now that we are getting Fulcrum and Flogger it would be really nice if this unit - even as a static - comes with them.
