I now believe that ED has only one person in the team who deals with this sort of thing. The animations of the ground troops currently suck. The Georgian soldiers and rebels have halfway decent movements. The US soldiers still have the charm of wooden toys. It also takes months/years to implement a VR pilot body. They're great, but you can tell there's only one person doing it, and it's off to the side. It would be great to have more than a handful of ground troops. Get rid of the kneeling guy with the bazooka. He floats around the land on his knees. Transporting troops with visible troops in a helicopter, that would be something. But the poor guy in ED won't be able to do that for the next 10 years. And animated soldiers getting into the helicopter and sitting down? I don't think so. And to come back to the topic, it is absolutely implausible that the animated ground crew carry any crates out of the cargo hold or even reload cargo with an autonomous forklift. As much as I would like to see that, we will NOT see that.

I (we) have noticed that when using the new (cool) waypoint tool in the AH-64, the CPG does not see any waypoints in the TDC, but the pilot does. My understanding is that the CPG should be able to see the pilot's waypoints. No mods have been used. Please check this. Thank you very much.

I would also like to add my two cents. The MiG-21 was a great module at the time and worth every penny. Don't get me wrong, the module WAS great, but nothing significant has been done with it in a long time. Meanwhile I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Maybe the team no longer has the capacity. It's a shame, but there will be reasons. I don't make suggestions. I have removed the module now, it is just too far behind the others. And unfortunately I no longer believe it will ever catch up. However, I wish the team every success. I'm not leaving angry, but rather with melancholy.

Thank you for your comments and efforts. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. I really like what I've seen so far.

translated from above: Question to the developers: are there any plans to implement an updated model of Mi-8MTV2, both externally and in the cockpit? Textures for 2024 look frankly outdated. It would breathe new life into this beautiful helicopter. Yes, please dear developers. She deserves it. And you know that!

Made my day! But a yes for some physics!

I would also like to see a 2nd edition of the Huey and of course the Mi-8. The updated versions can cost a bit, but that's not the problem. The problem is that once you have a certain number of modules that you are very fond of, it becomes difficult to remember everything. I would rather see the old modules that you have spent countless hours learning brought up to date.

I have seen on the Apache, the Gazelle and the Mi-24, the windscreen wipers actually wipe off the rain. And it looks cool and it's very immersive. Unfortunately, the Mi-8 and the Huey don't have that at the moment. The wipers work, but the rain stays on the windscreen. Will this be available for the Mi-8 and Huey soon? Could you please forward this as a question to the team? That would be very kind.

AAR with external tanks - tanker telling transfer complete too soon ?

I currently still have this error. Is there any news? -
I think you have to get to the core code. Otherwise slingloading will always be broken. That wouldn't be so nice. I also hope that Mi-8 and Huey will benefit a little from the new logistics and cargo system of the CH-47. If there were to be a graphics update at some point, that would be good. ED also wants to sell the modules for as long as possible. That will be difficult if the parts look old-fashioned. Any new gimmick for CSAR is also eagerly awaited by me.

Hope not.

+1 It's a real shame that you see the animation of the visor being lowered, but it has no effect in the game. Surely you can change that quickly? Please do it.

So, after a few hours with the Kiowa, I think I can allow myself a first judgment: You've done a really great job! It's really fun! Really great. It's great that you pay so much attention to detail. Sunglasses, to name just one. It's great that you persevered and defied all the obstacles. The result is impressive. The fact that you keep updating the Gazelle is also really remarkable. The Polychop brand now has a good reputation with me. And I'm probably not alone in that opinion. Thanks to everyone involved!

No. I'm not one of them. But the head should be on the neck. Incidentally, most of the modules where this vulture neck occurs are ED modules.

Up to now, the centering of the view has been designed for 2D. This often means that the view centering is often slightly higher and further forward than the pilot's actual head would be in RL. This is due to the screen, so that you have everything essential in your FOV. An alternative centering of the view when using VR would be good. And then exactly where the RL pilot's head would be. Either automatically or as an option to tick. It's not a big deal to move a little forward and a little higher every time you center, but over time you'll end up doing a few hundred of these stretching exercises, which is quite a thing.

Hello. It would be nice if there was a way to assign a radio frequency to an artillery unit or group and pass target data in the mission via the radio menu. I imagine this to be similar to the 9-liner. I radio the artillery unit via the appropriate frequency and transmit the desired coordinates, which I have determined using my targeting pod or MMS etc. The artillery unit checks whether it has sufficient ammunition and is within range. If this is the case, the artillery confirms the data to me and then fires at this target point. Thanks.

DCS: OH-58D Kiowa Warrior - Echo 19 partnership

Good news. I really like your Kiowa. If the sound is spiced up a bit, then I think that would be really cool. -

SA-342 Gazelle February 2024 update

That's wonderful news. I'm really looking forward to it. It's great that you keep outdoing yourselves. -

This has already been answered in another thread. But I also hope that it comes soon. It disturbs the good overall impression a little.

In general, the DCS maps are not very lively. And since I like traveling in a helicopter, I would very much welcome the idea of herds of animals appearing randomly like traffic. That's the wish area.

I wasn't expecting the 2024 and beyond video until January either. But I'm really looking forward to it. It's always a real highlight.
