@AeriaGloria Can you satisfy my curiosity? Where do you get such knowledge about Mi-24? Life, practice, direct contact, or the Internet, books, manuals?

Cargo Door not opened when loading side gunners
Raffi75 replied to jonsky7's topic in Bugs and Problems
Small correction. In the created mission, when I ask for rearming and adding a deck gunner, the door is closed all the time. When creating a new mission and selecting the same set, the door is open and everything seems to be ok. Does anyone have an idea where the error might be, how to possibly fix it? -
I know they were used on a few of our helicopters (version D and V, which still had lamps) during missions. There are photos without the lampshades. article with photo

Thanks for the link.

Today we flew with a friend and asked ourselves a question. Is there a plan for a system of protection against infrared guided missiles - microwave emitter L-166W-1 AE "Ispanka"? In the lower cabin there is a panel which is currently inactive and of course the lamp itself is missing. Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject?

Saab SK-60 Trainer
Raffi75 replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I really like this model, but the bugs that are happening right now have caused me to put it aside. I spoke with the creator of this mod on discord and learned that further work on this project is temporarily on hold. All that's left to do is wait patiently until someone takes care of it. -

I practice all the time. In fact, the hardest part for me is mastering the pedals. -

I use Thrustmaster - T16000M FCS Hotas + CH Pro Pedals. While I have no problem with large, heavy helicopters, I have a problem with this little one. There is still progress because I can take off without crashing and maneuver slightly near the ground, but it is still far from ideal and precise. -

Once you've perfected it, you can show it. I'm also still looking for the perfect one. -

I'm still learning how to fly this little bird. It's a completely different flight than the Mi-24 and Mi-8. Fast, agile madman. Every little success in piloting brings a lot of joy and satisfaction. I'm still experimenting with the joystick settings. -

I just thought about that too. The community itself can repay the creators in this way while not blocking access to such a good add-on for fans of this helicopter. -

This knowledge is only a few years of working with the equipment. And I still think I know too little.

You read too much and take everything literally 1:1. In fact, 250-260 km/h is the cruising speed and the most economical according to calculations. And I'm not saying that's not how it's flown. Of course, we also fly at these speeds, but it's not always necessary. However, life shows that you can fly at other speeds. It all depends on the configuration, load, the task being performed, the weather conditions. In the flight training program for the Mi-24, there are exercises where you only fly at 150-170 km/h.
-
I'm writing from my own experience. To be precise, I'm writing about version D, but I think it doesn't matter much.
-
The average cruising altitude on the route, if conditions allow, which we use in real life, is 600-800m at a speed of 220/230 km/h.

Great idea. I'll ask for that too.

Just as in the description.

No 8xATM suspension with select other loadout.

Yesterday I spoke with a colleague from my unit and we had exactly the same conclusions. Copilot is able to tell which flare/chaff cartridge it used. Besides, there is no counter for how many flares were fired. However, I do not think that the information in the kneeboard is a fraud. It would be possible to just replace it and the number of charges fired with the number of cartridges used. This is just a game and when playing single player, you had to somehow compensate for the lack of other crew members. See how many things Jester does in the F-14 and how many you can get from Petrovitch. ps. Where do you get the cartridge selection? My countermeasures menu looks different.

Why is this supposed to be a cheat? The crew consists of 2 (3, with the flight engineer) crew members and there is cooperation between them, which we are deprived of in the game. The copilot can provide information about the amount of combat resources at any time, is this also a cheat?

Do exactly as I wrote in these posts. Really, all you need to do is read with understanding.
