Realsimulator F-18CGRH is available for preorder

Realsimulator F-18CGRH is available for preorder I use the default springs that come installed. I have tightened them down because of the heavy TM Hornet grip, but anticipate lightening them up when the RS grip gets here. My grip and MT pit base frame made it to Cincinnati yesterday. Still says Tuesday delivery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have that VPC base and extension and use it with my F16SGRH CE when flying the A-10C. Works fine, grip gets power from the base. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yep got my F-16 grip in that box. Just clarified with MT though: only the base frame is coming on Tuesday. The rest will be shipped in 6 packages on Monday, so I should get it by Thursday I would think. I’m actually ok with this, it gives me time to get the base setup with my chair before adding the rest. Realsimulator F-18CGRH is available for preorder Just got my shipping notice, a week early. [emoji41] Edit: I just got my shipping notice from Monstertech also! The full cockpit and the F18CGRH are both arriving on Tuesday via DHL. [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

By the way, I had the 15 degree twist piece on a Warthog grip (the one I mentioned breaking at the screw attachment), but used a separate grip on my FSSB (and later got the RealSimulator F16SGRH CE grip). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I used to have a Shapeways piece on my Warthog grip and it broke where the screw connects it to the grip. [emoji2369] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The pricing difference from the F16SGRH CE makes sense now when I remember the promo price bit for the F18CGRH. I had heard the same thing also but forgotten about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Realsimulator F-18CGRH is available for preorder I believe you must go to CE for the BLE. IIRC it’s the main reason I got the CE, because I also wanted to use it with my Virpil base. I see where your confusion lies, though. The Description page indicates only the CE has BLE, but the Technical data page indicates otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I use the F16SGRH CE on my T-50CM2 base when flying the A-10C. It only gets power from the cable connection, it uses BLE to transfer all button presses. If your computer doesn’t have BLE, you’d need to buy a dongle. If you’re only going to use it with a FSSB R3L, you don’t need BLE. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Heck, I told them I’d only use it in a center mount. I also told them variable was ok with me ONLY IF locking it allowed absolutely no movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
3D Printed Hornet Front Panel - VR Well, I have a Monstertech cockpit on order, so at least I won’t have to worry about general pit construction any more... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I finally set up my Ender3 on Friday. I've printed a few HOTAS plug covers (for the stick>grip connectors) and a few grip display stands. Given my desire to swap between various aircraft, I'm not sure how much of this design I'll end up doing (I have the BuddyFox A-10C UFC, and have the TekCreations F-16 coming tomorrow and Hornet in a few weeks). Of course, I could do all of it. :) Thanks for offering these files up!

I thought I had said it before but let me be clear... I have the F16SGRH CE which has the hand painted finish. The non CE might be a little grainy like the new Hornet grip, but I still have no doubt it’s better than the TM grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have one that I use for nozzles in the Harrier and flaps/gear/hook for the Tomcat. I also use it for prop, mixture, and flaps on the WWII aircraft, and flaps and gear on other jets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Everything feels smoother on the RS grip. The finish of the grip beats TM hands down. I will say that the push buttons that are now hats (pickle, NWS, pinky) stick out a bit more from the grip and that takes a little getting used to. I’m at work now and can’t answer in more detail than that (sorry). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’d have to actually weigh them to be certain, but the RS F-16 grip is NOTICEABLY lighter than the TM Warthog grip. I imagine the same will be true for the Hornet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

They currently only put out the QWE keys on one, and RTY on the other. If your aircraft has functions on those keys you’d have to remap them. I remove those keys from all aircraft, and use them in Joystick Gremlin to trigger vJoy buttons with a tempo action, so I get six functions out of each button bank. I haven’t yet, but also plan on programming JG to trigger eject when I hold two of them down at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 3421 replies

Not an issue with the R3L base. It both lights up and beeps to let you know both when you’re approaching max force, and when you reach it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Realsimulator F-18CGRH is available for preorder I’m working on setting up my F16SGRH/T-50CM2 and T-50CM throttle for use in X-Wing and TIE Fighter this weekend. Seeing the new Squadrons trailer inspired me to break these out again. It’ll give me something to do until my Monstertech rig comes. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I use no curves at all with my grip and FSSB base. I only use a dead zone of 2 to account for unintentional jitter from muscle twitches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
