  1. I would replace the Q6600/2.40GHz with Intel Core 2 Duo E6700/2.67GHz FSB1066 4MB (BX80557E6700) And replace the 8800GTS with the8800GTX ;)
  2. Very Nice ;) . BTW, with a system like that you need to turn on the AA/AF especially for screenies!
  3. In my opinion I prefer that the Eurofighter stay in Fortress Europe. Anyway, give me an aluminum F-16A MLU / AIM9X and I will smoke these gay F-35 out of the sky No wonder that they are asking for an 22 (GAY F-35 sucks :D )
  4. Beta-testing of the bicycle damage model… :D
  5. Or is it about money? I wonder where you would put Australian military expenditures on this list: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/spending.htm (South Korea: $21.1 billion :D )
  6. Again, it was the latest news on the official www.f22-raptor.com The idea by itself that S. Koreans will mess up against old Red mig-29S’s maybe? :D
  7. South Korea is evaluating the purchase from USA of F-22 Raptor or F-35 Joint Strike Fighter planes manufactured by the leader industry Lockheed Martin. http://www.avionews.com/index.php?corpo=see_news_home.php&news_id=1073527&pagina_chiamante=corpo%3Dindex.php http://www.f22-raptor.com/ (latest news)
  8. If ED could do some reverse engineering on that miniZAP.EXE and reuse that code it would be a big improvement! Consider the speed of calculation done in real time by miniZAP that would not be a major FPS killer if integrated in Black Shark.
  9. Nothing it is just funny because the su-30 is modeled which comes with the R-73M2. There is no document that describes the model of R-77 too (which version is modeled for the Su-30?). I know of course that the R-73M2 is the Russian equivalent of the AIM-9X. :D =Funny remark (that is all)
  10. Your link is confirming the 30km range for the R-73M2 :D Range: 20km (R-73M1), or 30km (R-73M2)
  11. Very cool synchronised p(o)uga’s! Finally another 1080p movie :D And next time you can push up even more the AA, AF… :D
  12. Inform us with some pics (and don’t forget the bootgirls :D ) Have fun…
  13. Try to land at very low angle you will notice it! "Ground effect, often described as a 'cushion', is thought to be an increase in air pressure which occurs below a wing when it comes into close proximity with the ground. Ground effect begins to be noticeable (to both the pilot and an onlooker) when the aircraft is within 1-1.5 times the length of its own wingspan from the ground. Ground effect, however, only becomes extremely pronounced, where lift can momentarily increase by as much as 40%, when the plane is within about half its wingspan distance from the ground." Occasionally I notice the following ground effect with my over loaded 25T: "Ground effect during take-off is thought to be a cause of many aircraft accidents. A small plane loaded beyond gross weight capabilities may be able to take off under ground effect, thanks to the 'artificially' low stall speed due to the decreased induced drag. But it may not be able to climb beyond a certain point. Once the pilot climbs out of ground effect wingtip vortices will form, the wings will stall, and the aircraft will suddenly descend - usually resulting in a crash" (this happened multiple times to me :D ).
  14. Real low flyers like me have noticed it! :D
  15. I just did a quality check by watching “Eric Prydz” (dance video) DivX Rocks :D
  16. The Mig29k with the tail-hook was on my desktop for about 2 year! :D
  17. In lomac an overridden ET would kill it easy! Calm down guys I said: “In lomac” (in Lockon/FC 1.12a) :D
  18. How about modeling the F-15A Streak Eagle in Black Shark? Why not? The F-16 and the Mig29 have already both A and B model! Give me a Streak Eagle with a couple of 229-engines in RL and I would go vertical against an F-22 and beat it… ........ 30 pages without the f-22 word (no way) :D Anyhow Su-30MKK/Mig29k/F-18E/F is also Ok for me… (Even as a no flyable):P
  19. Falcon in the old days suffered from the same problem (40k+bug?). Falcon SuperPack2 (SP2) vs charts USAF F15C (220 engine) 42,000 lbs fuel, clean. Time to climb profile full afterburner. The profile requires acceleration to 350 KCAS. At 350 KCAS, pull to a climb angle that allows you to maintain 350 KCAS. When you intercept Mach 0.95, maintain Mach 0.95 till the desired altitude. SL - 10K F15C = 36 seconds, SP2 = 41 SL - 20K F15C = 1.0 minute, SP2 = 1.04 minutes SL - 30K F15C = 1.24 minutes, SP2 = 1.33 minutes SL - 40K F15C = 2.00 minutes, SP2 = 2.23 minutes SL - 50K F-15C = 3.00 minutes, SP2 = 4.02 minutes Overall, SP2 model did acceptably through 40K. After 40K SP2 time to climb fell off significantly. 3 possibilities: A) Lockon/fc 1.12 and falcon are wrong at 40k+ and 50k+ B) Dash-1 charts are wrong C) Both are wrong :D
  20. Could be the removal of “Norton Internet Security” but I can’t remember it. I have very good results by using XVid (DivX) in Lockon-avi tool. I was using “VirtualDub.exe” for final resize down to 1440x1080.
  21. I am pretty sure that the given NASA source was rather to save his ass (I would not be surprised if the guy works now for The Pratt & Whitney Company) Look what I just found on rapidshare : http://rapidshare.com/files/28778357/HFFM-manual.pdf.html The “HFFM-manual.pdf” …:D Check out page 26, 29 and from page 40 to 47. Check also out the standard atmosphere table used in falcon on page 13.
  22. I had also problems in the past but I did a cleanup of my WinXp and I am running on latest drivers now! On my system it takes 1 hour to render 1 minute in 1600x1200/@30FPS 4xAA ,8xAF with the Lomac render avi option but the result is true 30FPS. BTW, minutes ago I went live on Youtube: (Anyway the quality of youtube is very poor :D ) I hope they are not going to sue my ass for using that U2 song :D…
  23. Andre “Raptor One” Joseph / Mav-jp: Data was calculated from NASA sources and a public domain simulation program that makes use of the same NASA sources. Anyway the aerodynamic input data (Cl vs AoA and Cl vs Cd) was from the USAF and contained the full range of data from low subsonic to high supersonic. Anyway I remember Raptor One bragging about (kind of) confidential documents/charts/tables in his possession…:D
  24. Good documentary! That mountain range in Afghanistan is one hell of a scary place… BTW, hot pilot chick… :D
