Since you can select with the F-16 AN/APG-68 radar in RWS 10, 20, 40, 80 or 160 miles. ;) Even if a target shows up on the outer limit (40nm mode) you can only lock on it having it about in the middle (about 20nm) with your 120. Even radar beam bar options are simulated in falcon 4!

I suppose you never got Falcon 4 (whatever version) :P

What I want to explain is that if you have 3 bandits (2 with ECM on and 1 normal) in front of you then you have 2 strobes and 1 normal thus you and your brothers can lock-on the normal bandit (before burn through). The chance of a HOJ hit on the others is about 2% (if you anyway decide to pick out a strobe).. If the bandit has not ECM on then there is no burn through: you can lock-on him already before! BTW, at high altitude burn through range is the same as at low altitude but missile range is increased very much!

If you have ECM off before burn through and your buddies (wingmen have them on) then the bandits will all lock on you because the others are blocking them! You better turn them off after burn through! Ask jojo what a sparrow7 can do if you have your jammers on :D

So ATI doesn’t have problems running AA/AF with Vista. Do you know that people with a 8800GTX and Vista have to run lockon with 0xAA/0xAF? This is not a funny thing: Ask TorwaK!

The only mod I use is the Walvis F-15 model without using Modman. Maybe a very noobish question but what kind of advantages brings Modman exactly?

The only laggy factor will be Vista if you ask me. A helo moves not faster than 300km/h over terrain. The cpu/gpu has more problems with a mig29 moving at 1200 km/h close over a city (caching like hell and pumping new data very fast too). Fly with a helo over the Alps with the high def FS2004 terrain and you will notice less problems with the helos. But blowing up these high poly ground targets and hanging around will definitely decrease the FPS.

Possible the Vista bug…:D That F-15 Walvis 3D model looks awesome. He used 2 DVI cables anyway…

Please don’t try this at home… I kind of tried the trick on my back-door and it turned out the trick didn’t work :mad: . It is kind of completely jammed. Even with the good key it takes some lock bumping :D . I am lucky that this is not my new house under construction but only a rented house ;) . It is not the player his bagpipe that scares me but rather his Scottish skirt :D

I had no idea :D . If I was you I would claim a refund for my Vista until M$ (helps Nvidea) would (have) corrected the error. Anyway be happy that you could enable the raid with Vista ;) .
