Probably a secret box where he keeps money, condoms and other secret stuff :D -
Both the Columbia Encyclopedia and Encarta Encyclopedia list the number as "from 35,000 to more than 135,000 dead", the higher figure of which is in line with Irving's incorrect retracted estimates for the Bombing of Dresden in World War II. Anyway, overall, Anglo-American bombing of German cities claimed between 305,000 and 600,000 civilian lives in World War II .. Whether these attacks hastened the end of the war is a controversial question. You can’t change things that happened in the past but my grand father told me anyway to take it as a lesson for the next generation to not let happen ever again! BTW, nothing to do with "America is evil" Napoleon and Hitler were evil! A 3rd world war would be a last world war and also “end game over for everybody”

Between all these, Kuky has the coolest setup in my opinion… BTW, Thanks to Kuky I am using (bike) gloves now! It is a huge improvement :D -

Don’t look at the dust :D -
Count me in too :D For the moment the F22 is probably just a buggy disaster running on beta software and it can almost certainly operate (read stay airborne) if you switch off about 70% of the systems. Anyway I believe that they can still save the project after injecting another trillion $ :helpsmilie: .

Here is my opinion about the F-22: It is like buying the best (quad core pc with 2x8800GTX's SLI available today) and put all your money on that project and as a result 3 year later you see all people buying cheaper and more performing computers than yours . 4 years ago my Fx-55@2.6Ghz stock was beating the pentium 4 Prescott oc @5.2Ghz with 3dmark05 (it was the CPU of the year 2003/2004). At the moment it is pawned even by the cheapest core 2 available. Anyway the 3 year advantage in IT sector would translate in about 10 year advantage for the military aviation sector. Anyhow, pretty soon fanbois will jump in and announce that the F-22 will dominate about everything for the next 30 years :D.

Actually, the lock on sun is/was modeled in Lock-on-FC

You mean a launch with override function maybe? Anyway it would be even more a wasted IR missile then…;)

Need some ingame screenshots ?
TucksonSonny replied to Majesco's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yes, but 1.86GHZ for the E6300 is kind of not much (you need to pay for the extra cooling to pump it up @2.6Ghz if possible?) Nowadays an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHZ Sock AM2 1MB Cache Boxed with cooler costs about the same! BTW, I would also go for an Intel Core™2 at the moment ;) . -
I must be friggin' retarted!

In that case I will keep further tricks/ techniques (also not mentioned) for myself. Excuse me now. I am going to pawn a couple of fag-noobs on HL :D -
Adding new features (cockpit,…), more complex weapon-systems, more detailed 3Dmodels and more complex explosions/weather/effects etc. is not compatible with improved FPS. I think for improved FPS you will need go shopping again after the release of BS. (Like Windows Vista runs existing games between 5 and 40% slower) ;)

Also very important and not mentioned yet in this thread is the launch speed of your missile (as fast as possible). Also after launching your missile(s) you need to slow down a little bit while F-poling (not too slow) but enough to give your missile(s) the time to reach the target while keeping the target lock in your hud. Of course this is tricky and depends also on the speed of the bandit. -

Here is just another F-pole OneOnTwo tutorial done by me! Description: 1x Su-27 versus 2x F-15C in ACE (skill excellent). (F-15C's loaded with 4xAIM9, 4xAIM-120, 1x fuel) Zip file Includes mission and track file! (version FC 1.12a) Get it here: http://users.belgacom.net/gc363831/fc/1_su27_vs_2_F15c_ace.zip A) The 1st F-15C was shut down with ER by executing a perfect (Ironhand)F-pole maneuver. B) The 2nd F-15C was on my six as a result of action A (The famous TucksonSonny maneuver was used to get him anyway too by ER :D ) Remember you can accelerate the track with <crtl>-a (or <ctrl>-q) and decelerate with <shft>-a (<shft>-q) if you don’t want to see the take-off and the landing! I wonder if you guys can pull of the second one in style. (The famous TucksonSonny maneuver is not always successful :D ) -
If I would discover a blink-cheater then I would quit the mission and warn the other players by chat. If this behavior is confirmed by other players too then it is obvious that the only looser is the cheater himself and he can go! BTW, real men/women don’t blink! ;)

OT Online playing (revisited)
TucksonSonny replied to Mizzy's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Or join a server with 2/32 and join the other side (3/32) so you can find and kill him/her :D . No problems with IFF because you have only 1 enemy (1on1 also great with ER’s on the Su-27 and no lag) What I do is check on a regular basis the scoreboard to check eventually new joiners! -
I am also running with Windows XP Home on 1GB of RAM. And I have no problems! Maybe your video/driver? (Just a guess)
-
How about 3 versus 1 having 3 birds jamming 3 times stronger than the bandit (1 jammer) and as a result have increasing burn through range of the 3ship and have decreasing the burn through range of the bandit? Ok, not necessary 3 times stronger but anyway 3 jammers are more effective than 1!

Ultra High Definition Movie: Pougachev’s Cobra
TucksonSonny replied to TucksonSonny's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Rendering DivX is a time-consuming operation! Bit rate is about 4864 kb/s for the Xvid (DivX)-file . The Microsoft HD example “To_The_Limit_1080.wmv” is even 8417 kb/s bit rate. Media player shows 176 kbps bit rate on the Xvid (DivX)-file which is an error! see also: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=21681 -
Movie-clip: One minute
TucksonSonny replied to TucksonSonny's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
If you have Windows XP with SP2 then you must have “Windows Movie Maker”. A) Import the movie into collections and drag the movie parts in your timeline. B) Save Movie file and pick an option with the wizard (Anyway you can’t pick a higher res than 800x600 thus no problem there) To be honest if you use a res lower than 1600x1200 it is not worth the trouble. It is like buying a BlueRay disk and convert it on your pc into on a DVD-format disk and put it in your DVD player. ;) -

TucksonSonny replied to TucksonSonny's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
About pwning merrican hardware… :D No seriously, the idea was to make a clip that would let people think that they aren’t looking at a sim but at the real thing in the highest possible quality. Most simmers inhere with relative powerful systems can experience this indeed all the time ingame and with high AA/AF settings in HD resolutions. Although until now I could never find a movie that looked like the ingame. A lot of beautiful work but it was made in low resolutions and patched up with effects and blurs to cover the low detail. You can use the OneMinute-clip as a video screensaver (repeat on with media player) and show off at your Office at your desktop (if powerful enough ;) ) PS. Quality control is very simple: just press pause! -

In all honesty it was 4xAI-expert mig pilots versus 4xAI-expert viper pilots. BTW, score was 3-1 in advantage for the Mig :D
