Its the same If you look closer in the second pic, the left side shows Ice's v1 of the skin and it covers the full tail, the right side shows his latest one which is straight (not covering the full tail tip). I pointed this out before in his other thread but I guess he didn't see it. That's why i circled the nose as well, i was wondering if it could be white like v1 and like the real plane.

Ice's skin is nice, he didn't fix the little non-green area on the tip of the tail though.

rugg was banned a while back, i don't know why though, he's a good guy in my book. I work with him all the time on sim-mod =/

sooo.....where are these new screens?

could anyone pinpoint what's causing the problem? Like is it one of the banners? Or is it a false positive? Because I haven't had any problems going into it. Maybe its because I'm using firefox or adblock plus is blocking it. Because based off of Mustang's screenshot, he's running on IE and the java application popped up, which didn't for me.

My suggestion for both planes is to compare it to an accurate layout and make any adjustments to mold it into the correct shape (if necessary)

since the picture v1per picture is the original F-15E from mesh factory, I would assume its going to take some time and work for him to reduce the # of poly, get it skinned, damage model....etc before its ready for lock on.

meshfactory's models are nice and all, but it doesn't look accurate. For example, the VANO's F-14 i believe it originally derived from mesh factory, but they got the canopy shape wrong. Anyway, USSR_Gys has also made a nice looking F-15E and that is up to ED's standards. Probably won't be released for Lock On though

You have to wait a while, borchi is making a new F-15 model and it has one kick ass pilot. We are currently working on it over at sim-mod, if you do a search about it, you can learn more. walmis F-15 is great but it had some inaccuracies, plus the original model was lost so it can't be improved anymore. But he was one of the first to bring a new model into lock on so he should be credited for that.
