  1. On the subject of how the 2 seater will work in SP, wags said something to the effect of "It's not like it hasn't been done before"...which is kind of cryptic. I took it to mean that it might work like EECH...or some other previous sim with a 2 seater in SP.
  2. I still check here often...more for the mods section than the general discussion though...
  3. Ahhh this is what I was afraid of...oh well I guess I'll just watch Chevaliers du Ciel again...:joystick:
  4. Non! You must not let him build his army of mutant testers. Quick! Release the mod before he can assemble his forces! :D
  5. If you want your users to have the best experience, I think having the KoP on your test team is a good thing! :D
  6. I learned early on it's much easier to make a mission pack than a campaign... You know you could always release the mod(now) and the campaign(later) separately....:music_whistling:
  7. Yeah I have to admit I was slightly let down when I realized no objects were included... :D
  8. I came across a picture with these weird concrete-looking things separating the parking slots... does anyone know where this is? It's beautiful with the water and all...and look at the state of that concrete... I wish LO/FC could have such uneven ground...hehe
  9. Is there any chance the full manual will be released as a download before DCS:BS is released?
  10. Any chance to ever see the Jaguar? Replace Su-25T maybe? I found this model... http://www.contentparadise.com/us/user/ba_jaguar_gr1_for_3d_studio_max_product_33004
  11. Thanks for taking the time to respond Rocky. I look forward to your releases!
  12. Rocky can you talk about how this collaboration will work? Is it all just free content to ED? Are you being paid? If not, is there anything coming back from ED to the LO:FC modding community?
  13. If being an ED customer has taught me anything it's that it's better to expect the worst and possibly be surprised than to expect the best and certainly be disappointed. :D
  14. The first post just says ED has no problem with sim-mod making LO:FC mods....which is a no-brainer as ED hasn't had a problem with anyone adding to the value of their sim with free mods.. what is unclear is how the use of the Sim-mod teams work in DCS:BS will effect it's release for LO:FC. And whether or not the LO:FC mod community will get any benefit of association with ED outside of the bragging rights for having their work included at no cost to ED. When ED announced that LO:FC was being dropped, the mod community became the only source for future development. If ED co-opts that development for DCS:BS it's another loss for LO:FC community...which has been greatly disappointed already.
  15. What does this 'collaboration' mean for release of the sim-mod LO:FC mods? Has work on them been suspended in favor of DCS:BS? Will we have to wait for release of DCS:BS before the LO:FC versions are released? One other question...Does this 'collaboration' work both ways? IE the mod community gives ED some its work for DCS:BS...ED gives the mod community something in return? Like the new Georgia map area of DCS:BS for LO:FC? Or a more open mod architecture for previously unmoddable aspects of LO:FC?
  16. TekaTeka already has an english cockpit mod... http://bvr.jpn.org/lockon/index_e.html
  17. Thanks for the update guys! This is going to be one huge download I bet!
  18. Any word on when this might be released?
  19. I want them to show that they do actually give a crap about their fans. I know I am not the only one who feels that whether or not there is a 1.13 patch is a part of the decision process on whether or not to further support ED by buying DCS:BS. If all they are going to do is keep pushing new products when there are serious issues with their existing titles why should I believe they won't keep doing that forever? Say they release DCS:BS and it has some issues...instead of fixing them they just say "we are evaluating a patch for the known issues with DCS:BS until then enjoy DCS:A-10A" At some point they should decide that customer satisfaction issues don't go away as soon as they collect our money. The patch issue is even more important when you consider that it will be YEARS before we get another fast-mover sim (from ED anyway). It will go a long way towards fostering a better PR relationship with their fans if they leave LO/FC as "fixed' as they can make it with a final patch.
  20. Yes. If you notice on the template that rectangular section (which I assume is an access panel or something) is totally separate from that section of the fuselage. I could have made it the same gray as the rest of that section, but I decided what the hell it's a fantasy skin anyway... :D
  21. Uploaded to lockonfiles...will be up when Thomas gets done beating his hosting company with a length of rubber hose. :)
