  1. So honestly. Vulkan is overrated and doesn't bring much today. It was a revolution a few years ago, now it's really a waste of time to bother with it. The market has gone to other optimizations based on DX12. Wait patiently, Padawan!

    Sun glow in VR

Something different, but you can also see the difference. However, a smaller sun would be useful.
  3. So not two weeks? How is possible?
  4. This is right corner: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/216-f-15e/
  5. Not my screen but it doesn't matter. Loading screen is everywhere. Btw. I have the impression that ED will want to transfer all modules from FC to the full version (FF), so we will get A-10A, Su-25 and Su-27 I feel something, in time of course. I would wait here most for Su-25 FF.
  6. Wow, F-15C FF? Nice ! The rest: C-130J, MiG-29A. Btw. I also have a secret hope that this "15 years of DCS" loading screen will be either improved or replaced. 15 years it was in ... 2023. Now we are in 2025 so the correct could be 17 years now.
  7. Perhaps like standard newsletter -15:00Z.
  8. Private matters in the team, there was a topic about it, but there is no point in continuing it now, especially in the Kiowa section:
  9. Of course, this is not very good news in terms of the next module. I'm sure that support will not be terminated, on the plus side, Kiowa is already patched and basically everything is ok and in the right place (thanks PC!) presenting a good standard and being the better of the modules for DCS in the subject of helicopters . But probably when it comes to the next, new module, we will wait a bit, something like it was with Gazelle and then Kiowa in terms of time.
  10. I use this map often, whenever I learn something (from US aircraft) it's there. The other maps are already "theaters of operations". I have nothing against Nevada 2.0v.
  11. Aviron - DCS: Kfir Dear pilots and friends, We wish you a Happy New 2025 Year and are excited to humbly present a summary of 2024 for Aviron Simulations. We know some of you have been eagerly awaiting this, and we thank you all for your support and engagement in our Discord community, helping us bring the Kfir to life. Systems Department The systems' components were developed with real physics logic, simulating the behavior of electricity, fluids, and mechanics as they would in real-world scenarios. It's all about those geeky intricacies for a truly authentic experience. We integrated the plane systems' primary and backup channels using the aforementioned physicalized components model. Additionally, we have developed specifically tailored testing tools to ensure that each component—and accordingly each system—meets expectations for well-defined behaviors, enhancing reliability. Flight Model Department We have been implementing a flight model based on actual wind tunnel data and are complementing it with a complex CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation to ensure accuracy. We are excited to announce that it is currently in the pre-alpha stage and taking shape. Art Department This year, we refactored our entire cockpit to bring it up to current DCS standards and fully integrated it with DCS. This means everything is clickable and has functionality linked to the system it represents. We don’t want to give away too much, so this is just a taste of what we’ve achieved. We can’t wait to share more information with you when we are ready! We also invite you to join us on our Instagram page @avironsimulations for more updates and behind-the-scenes content! Below, we have a few pictures displaying our art department's progression—though please note, these are still a work in progress.
  12. Where did the idea for NTTR 2.0 come from? I haven't seen anything like that mentioned anywhere on ED's side. Maybe I missed something, or it's just wishful thinking ?
  13. A2R while turning (VR). (interestingly, this was my first time refueled while turning )
  14. And I hope that in Q1 we will see at least this for F-16 :
  15. Of course the final word can always belong to the publisher, however, as I wrote right at the beginning, taking on this responsibility is risky for several reasons. Have a nice day.
  16. The map of Australia has been controversial from the start. I hope that the palm tree on the poster does not mean Australia . I bet on Vietnam (most obviously I hope so and fingers crossed!) but as someone here has noticed it could also be a map of WWII Marianas only, so you have to take that into account. At least for me the map of Australia would make big sense but... as World War II version (with big part of the sea and a fragment or the whole island with Papua New Guinea).
  17. Here is also a good example, where you can see that the front cover is quite light, in my opinion this element is replaceable (depending on time of day, weather and theatre of operations), from darker to lighter visor (depending on time of day, weather and theatre of operations). I know that they are also cut to fit the pilot.
  18. [Icon: Facepalm] Are you aware that talks between Ground Pounder Simulations and ED, Razbam about the Harrier module lasted in 2022 and the campaign came out in early 2023 (consent was received then)? This is not a topic for you, unless you make your own campaign and want to publish it as a paid one. The rules are mega simple for the rules prevailing for the DCS market. If you don't understand this and what NDA means, well. I have no influence on this, I have to leave you with this riddle . Ciao!
  19. I will only add that if for some reason we set the mission before the date 28/3/1994 the GPS signal won't work, so DL probably won't work properly either. It's worth checking too.
  20. Unfortunately you are wrong, but as I wrote, EOT. If you want to know more, make different topic about it, maybe someone will explain it you deeper, so please do not make offtopic here, here is a topic about 2024 and F100 I suppose .
