  1. I don't know how true it is (Disord rumors) but the map is supposed to be there and supposedly it will take up 200Gb in EA. We'll find out tomorrow. It would be a nice surprise before the holidays. Check the new FAQ too:
  2. It's not quite like that, it depends on how you look at it. Note that preorders usually had a much lower price than Early Access (-30% even), so from the point of view of a customer who will buy it anyway, it's better to have preorder option than wait for the release because you'll gain more. The preorder has never had the same price as EA. Nobody is forcing you to buy it before as well …
  3. Patch tomorrow, so not Today. fingers crossed for Germany map. As you can see there will be no pre-order so it is possible that someone wants to surprise us before Easter ?
  4. What about pictures or video of Peenemünde?
  5. Do you want to start pre order with some kind of the discount? In the last Wags video he said the the CW map will be released this month! So 2 weeks (really two weeks this time !)
  6. Heatblur triumvirate pack & sale video:
  7. Indiafoxtecho: DCS G.91 WIP SCREENSHOTS ******************************* Contrary to what we do with our MSFS projects, our progress reports for DCS projects are less frequent and, in many cases, way more detailed. Fact is that DCS development is way more time and resources consuming than MSFS, for a number of reasons - and one is the fact that the general expectations are higher in terms of realism and fidelity. BUT rest assured we have been working hard on DCS, and our next product, the G.91 is making slow but steady progress. Here are some work-in-progress images of the new external model with preliminary "bare metal" textures - once these will be complete, we'll proceed with the liveries.
  8. Good to know! Thx for the reply.
  9. Can you record the video with the sound? Do you use any mods with different sounds (ogher planes, objects)?
  10. The modules have just disappeared from sale on Steam. If someone didn't buy it on Steam today, they won't.
  11. The last chance is the Steam ;), all products of Razbam are here still: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2316890/DCS_F15E/ pairing accounts is very easy btw: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/500/
  12. Can you put the track here or as P.message? Unfortunately, no chance, it's basically doing everything (almost) from scratch. On the plus side, I'll add that the region where this is happening corresponds very closely to the terrain around Jalalabad on Afghan map ((except textures for sure).
  13. ? No one said it would be soon. I'm betting on the end of the year. And earlier pre order, 2-3 months earlier maybe.
  14. Magnitude 3: 1842 Naval Air Squadron.
  15. There was supposed to be IIWW somewhere around the turn of Q1 and Q2. It's probably May, or something simpler April, but of course that's speculation. There have been a few nice surprises from ED recently :).
  16. I hope that in the April patch we will also get a new cockpit for the Su-25A from FC.
  17. It was released for MSFS Today. Sorry for posting a video from another simulator here but I'm rooting for a 3rd party that will make it for DCS. #JaguarForDCS
  18. This is nothing new. This has been going on for a long time. The mod has been broken for months and is causing CTD DCS. @Taz1004 was here 1 year ago, pity ...
  19. Seasons please - autumn and winter version of the map too. For a map of part of Europe this is very important, we still have the seasons ;)!
  20. Heatblur Simulation: *** DCS F-4E Updates incoming! **** Most of last year was focused on bug fixing, improvements and a lot of underlying core and structural changes to our codebases in order to improve it for the future Phantom updates and to port features to other modules; as well as the launch of some new content in the form of the F-4E Campaign. This year, we’ve turned our attention back to feature development, and it's time to start shipping new features! We’ll be starting off next month with shipping JESTER modding capability, and opening up the API to the community. JESTER is built to be an extensible, modular SDK based around intuitive LUA scripting workflows to model “human-like” crew-members for high fidelity aircraft modules. You will be able to override and extend almost any part of JESTER AI, creating entire new routines, interesting mission or campaign content or more. Check out the documentation for this upcoming feature here: https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/.../jester/overview.html We can’t wait to see what you do with JESTER! Another improvement coming soon is the addition of the first pass of character customization. Initially, this will be based on presets, with the next iteration of this feature being able to customize each preset or create a custom one with the exact setup of flight gear that you want. At that time we’ll also be introducing new flight gear, such as new helmet types, new flight suits and more. Eventually this system will be ported to the F-14 as well. More visual elements and some associated functionality are also on their way; such as the “Dogbone” gun-camera (and eventually gun-camera functionality), as well as additional visual customization options for e.g. Greek Phantoms! These include the external refueling probe used by Israeli Phantoms, the removal of the “football” antenna on the tail or addition of the newer generation one, as well as plenty of other bits and bobs. Where feasible and relevant for an F-4E as depicted by our module, these visual options will be functional, and where otherwise not relevant they will simply be visual additions for a more accurate representation of national Phantoms. Work has also begun on “Jester Pod” - JESTER being able to utilize the Pave Spike targeting pod! This will be very helpful in Singleplayer, where you’ll be able to rely more on your backseater to get crosshairs on target and precision strike using this early targeting pod. We expect this feature to be finished in April but may be included in a later patch. We’re also finally putting our finishing touches on the F-4 Paint Kit, allowing you to better create new liveries for yourself and the community. We’ll also be soon adding a decal layer on top of the surface of the aircraft, for easy customization of many aircraft modexes. Stay tuned for more Phantom updates throughout the year as we add new novel features to the Phantom, and start adding new features as part of the DMAS upgrade package. Thank you so much for flying the F-4 in DCS, and we hope you’ll enjoy the new features coming down the pipe throughout the next few months! Sincerely, Heatblur Simulations
  21. This is my favorite picture till now.
  22. So the entire map (to the border of the Phase 3) will have the same level of detail as Phase 1? I'm talking about Phase 2 and 3. So if I understand correctly, Phase 2 and 3 will also have airports, buildings, vegetation, etc. with the same level of detail as Phase 1? Am I correct?
