  1. DCS 2.9.6 Update and CH-47F Status The DCS: CH-47F is almost ready for early access release. We have been using the additional time to fix issues and provide additional functionality, create more content, and test. With the “Hook” nearing early access release, we are in the process of creating instructional videos, the first of which is an introduction and a simple start procedure CH-47F Introduction and Cold Start tutorial. The comprehensive DCS 2.9.6.57650 update introduced significant new content and changes across the platform. Based on the feedback and bug reports, we have been able to identify some key issues that we are working diligently to resolve in a hot fix and before launching the DCS: CH-47F. This includes, but is not limited to issues that some of you may have encountered with the new Launcher, multiplayer dynamic spawn, VR quad view support, controllers, and the module manager. 2. FM: The FM of the BO-105 is nearing perfection. We have had many discussions with active BO-105 pilots in the last few weeks. Based on the input, the MEDUSA SYSTEM will be expanded. MEDUSA will be fed with additional rotor blade bending formulas. PERFECTION. We want to present you with a 100% FM. A PFM that has never been seen in a simulator before. 3D/Graphic: Due to the current limitations, which include morph targets, we have decided to create the pilot/co-pilot model in such a way that we can animate the basic bones animation for the large bones of the head. Result: See Video Collective fun FONTE https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=122127382292312022&id=61559360667659&ref=embed_post Bye Phant
  3. 2024 Summer Update: Christen Eagle II Early in the year, work began on our older modules. We decided to start with the Christen Eagle as it’s the easiest. The artist have remodeled the airframe from cowl to tail, that will be easier on the graphics card. Areas of significant improvement include the cowl shape & air intake louvers, fuselage panels, and tail section shape. The wings are ok, but will see slight improvements in the navigation lights’ sizes, and some access hatch details. Other than the above mentioned, we are going to be releasing a one-piece canopy, along with a 3-blade prop CE2 variant. Following that, the aircraft will be modified into a full fledged CE1 with an IO-540 6 cylinder engine. As of now, there is no information if there will be an update price, similar to Eagle Dynamics’ A-10C-II and Ka-50. We are aware of a few annoying bugs, such as the floating numbers from the radio and fuel gauge. We do have open support tickets with Eagle Dynamics, and patiently wait until they can attend them. 4. 2024 Summer Update: F4U-1D Corsair Work continues on the flight model and R-2800-8W engine performance. FM tables are being generated and modified as needed to match the performance and flight charts that we have on hand. Computational Fluid Dynamic data has also been generated to help with creating the tables. We’ll provide a more in-depth review when we are absolutely ready to show some comparing charts against the actual data. We also decided to develop some extra items into the Corsair. The first, are tires with different treads that’ll be optional for livery artists via lua programming. It includes, Dunlop, Firestone, BF Goodrich and Good Year. Gun bays are currently under construction and almost finished. Essex Class Carrier We added more detail on the catapults, in which we hope we’ll have a working bridle system in the future. Elements of this system include the tensioners, bridle catch claws & cables, and the wood planks that help line up the aircraft (not placed yet). We know there’ll be questions regarding this and other aspects of carrier operations. We just can’t simply answer them at this stage, but will make notice once we can. Bye Phant

  7. Southwest Afghanistan Available in the latest DCS version Afghanistan, often called the “crossroads of Asia” is a landlocked country located at the intersection of Central and South Asia. It shares borders with Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China. Historical Significance In the 19th century, Afghanistan became a buffer state in “The Great Game” between the British Empire and Tsarist Russia, both of whom sought control over Central Asia. Later, the Soviet-Afghan War (1979-1989) highlighted the strategic importance of Afghanistan in the Cold War geopolitics. The rugged terrain also played a pivotal role in the resistance mounted by Mujahideen fighters against the Soviet forces. Post September 2001, Afghanistan became a central theatre in the Global War on Terrorism, leading to a prolonged conflict involving the United States and NATO forces, who aimed at dismantling terrorist groups whilst stabilising the region. Operational Challenges Operating in DCS: Afghanistan presents unique challenges due to geography, climate and socio-political dynamics. The combination of high altitude environments and limited infrastructure requires adaptive strategies from foreign military forces and highlights the importance of local knowledge and alliances. Key features: 14 airfields including: Bost, Camp Bastion, Chaghcharan, Dwyer, Farah, Herat, Kandahar, Maymana, Zahiraddin, Faryabi, Qala i Naw, Shindand, Tirinkot, Zaranj Improved clipmap technology Improved Field and town materials The Afghanistan map is highly detailed with fields, cities, towns and thousands of smaller settlements. We implemented a new method of collecting, processing, importing and exporting data are being OSM type data, as well as determining surface types from satellite images, which are processed, optimised and vectored for subsequent implementation into the terrain module. You can purchase only the DCS: Southwest Afghanistan region offering you a 471’381 km2 area and 12 highly detailed airfields or the full region 1’449’216 km2 terrain which will be offering 28 highly detailed airfields Bye Phant
  8. F-16C The Gamblers Campaign by Baltic Dragon The Gamblers campaign was developed by Baltic Dragon and John ‘Rain’ Waters, a former Viper Demo Team pilot, member of the 77th Fighter Squadron, and host of the Afterburn Podcast. In 13 varied missions, you will relive some of the sorties that Rain and his squadron flew during their deployment to Syria, as well as some of the other most iconic moments of the allied involvement within the theatre, including the Battle of Raqqa in 2017, the US TLAM strike against the Shayrat Airbase, and the standoff between US forces and the notorious Wagner group, which is now known as the Battle of Khasham. This campaign also introduces a new, more immersive way of interacting with the environment using the HOTAS. Bye Phant
