Well, I looked at it yesterday and it isn't available in Europe, I can't even pre-order it. Only the grip but not the base. Enviado desde mi ALP-L09 mediante Tapatalk

I voted yes. I the past I would have probably voted no, but my personal situation has changed. I haven't been able to use my pedals for over a year because of an injury. I have a hotas warthog and pedals, but I can't use it cause my feet can't handle it. I waited to get better, but in the end, I haven't, so I have to use a Thrustmaster T16000m as joystick with the Warthog Hotas. I have looked for a high end joystick with twist, but I haven't found any. This could be it if it has the twist.

Agreed. This airspeed indicator is confusing as hell. I don't have a problem landing in airfields, but with carriers, I don't know my speed, and in this case it is critical to do it by the book and with the exact correct speed.

You have to open the comms menu, usually assigned to the backslash, then press F8 for the ground unit, then look and select ground power or air supply, then F2 to connect. Here it is better explained: The Tomcat start-up procedure is quite interesting since it is basically a two-man job. First, you need to ensure the parking brake is set before pressing the Communication Menu key [ \ ] and contact the Ground Crew by pressing [ F8 ]. Since the Tomcat does not have a battery switch nor an APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) – its electrical systems run strictly on either engine generator power or an external power source. We need to connect Ground Power by pressing [ F2 ] (Ground Electric Power menu) and [ F1 ] (Power On). Our GE F110 engines have pneumatic starters and require an external air pressure source, which can be provided by contacting the Ground Crew [ F8 ], pressing [ F2 ] (Ground Air Supply menu) and by pressing [ F1 ] (Connect). https://www.mudspike.com/dcs-heatblur-f-14b-tomcat-preview/

I was thinking the same as the OP and I wasn't even in VR yet. It asks you to do several things each time, that is not a proper way of teaching, and I know cause I'm a teacher. Do one thing at a time, don't ask 3 or 4,and then have the text disappear.

Yeah, you're not the only one :D

Yes, thank you, Max_Rogue. I've been trying to update all day long, it's almost the 30th in Spain, and no update. I didn't know there was an open beta branch, and that it was going to be released there. Quite confusing tbh.
-
Yep, the manual we get in the games files. BIGNEWY gave me what I wanted. Those other real manuals are very useful too, thanks.
-
Is there a way to get the flight manual before the 29th?
-
Yep, fast mission is not implemented. But it takes a few seconds to create a mission just to fly.
-
Update still not appearing in Spain. And I can't manually update cause it says I can't install in the same location.
-
Still not showing up the update in Spain.

Multi-monitor set-up guide & help (unofficial)
valrond replied to MadTommy's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I have read though most of this thread, I have searched the whole forum, but I haven't found if there is a way to change the angle of the side screens in a 3 screen configuration. I have 3 screens (5760x1200 with nvidia surround), and it works very well in iracing, selecting 3 screens and then putting the angle of the screens, there is an option in that racing simulator. But here, you get nothing, it's 90º or bust. And 1 screen just plain sucks. Do you know any way to modify the lua file to change the angle of the side screens? Thanks. -
Wow. I didn't know I already had the assets. I entered the WW2 1944 part on my profile and there it is, waiting to request the serial. Thank you. You saved me up some money.
-
Not the bundle, just the assets, I have the Normandy pack for the WW2 preorder. It hasn't got any discounts, and it shows that you get some bonus buying it.
-
So it works in the Viggen, nice, I wanted to get that one. And the WW2 assets preorder, does it work in that one too?
-
Yes, it would be nice to know which modules/campaigns are included in the 60% max bonus.

Thanks for your work, Chuck. Your guides are very useful.

DCS Warthog HOTAS Profiles by Polaris & Schnix
valrond replied to POLARIS1's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I can't make this work. I have tried the A-10C in the normal DCS World 1.5 saved game folders, but there is no way to make it work. I have spent more than an hour creating profiles, deleting, copying, exiting and entering the game, but it will not register any of the profiles. Any help or should I just program them myself ? I have noticed that the ID that follows each part of the HOTAS (than long hex chain with like 30 digits) is different from mine. Is that the reason? -
Thank you. I'll select the 109 and the Spit and buy the other two when they come out.
-
Sithspawn, do you know if there is a limit to claim the rewards? I already have the P51D and I bought the Dora a couple of days ago. If there is, which are the next two aircrafts to be released? Thank you.

DCS:WWII Backer rewards is now under an upgrade
valrond replied to taxman1's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
I'm happy to inform that I just bought the Dora (will get other 2 with the DCS Kickstarter) and I got the 10$ bonus. So yes, you can use it to get the Sabre. -
I'll probably just take the first two that are finished, that's the Dora and the next one, be it the 109, the Spitfire or the P47. Personally, I prefer the 109 or P47, but I know that in the end I'll just get them all. If the KS had realistic rewards, instead of 6 aircraft for $40, I'd just get them all anyway. So, pick your favourite aircrafts, and that's about it.

These are great news. Thank you, ED, you did the right thing. I'll get the 2 planes of my choosing, and I'll buy the rest when they come out :D
