Of course you can do it, but It wouldn't be my plane of choice... mainly because you are pretty limited in the amount of ordnance you can carry and the mix of it... Basically you are limited by 2x A-G guided weapons (or 4x BK90) and a combination of gunpods/ ecm /chaff pods.... To me with this limitation, you either go for the planned TGT or go out hunting for TOO. Don't think I would do both on one mission...

You describe perfectly what is all the excitement of flying the Viggen ! The only "drawback" I could say is that it is really not a plane to go for target of opportunity... basically all must be pre-planned. But in a way it give you a sense of tranquillity...because you know what your task it is and all is planned accordingly.... And...if you see trees below you, you're definitely flying too high...

The plane is a blast to fly....low and fast... nothing is more exciting than this ! A weapon I really like to employ with the Viggen is the BK90. Enjoy !

When I connect to online servers I use the MT version and it run very good. Anyway, I got a threadripper 3960x, a 3090 gpu and 64gb ram.

Hi all, Is right that the AH-64D does not appear in the modules even though I have it and that even if I have FC3 installed, all the planes modules are red (like not installed) except for FC3, FC3-Su25T and FC3-Su33 ? Thanks

Thanks, I know that the server remain ST. My question is in regard of launching the game in ST or MT. What I mean: -launching the dedicated server (ST) - then launching DCS World open.beta...and connecting to the server...should I launch the ST version or MT one ? Thanks.

Hi all, I would like to install a DCS World dedicated server on my PC. Since the last update, I normally use the MT version of DCS OpenBeta when launching the game. What I would like to ask is if it will make sense launch this same MT version when planning to connect to my local dedicated server or not. Should I expect some performance gains anyway or not ? Hello all. I am learning to fly the F-16 but one thing I have lot of difficulties is using the LITENING pod. First of all, I find it extremely difficult finding the targets...be it Tanks, IFV, SAM, etc... I mean, the dimension of the MFD is not very big, and I don't know what should be the best "operating mode" to find such targets...TV/CCD or WHOT or BHOT.. Then there is the way to "how to pass the TGT position" to the weapon... be it a JDAM, JSOW, MAV, LGB or any weapon in CCRP mode.... I have a lot of problems to understand which mode is best to use with which weapon... I tried the TRAINING missions, but they start when you are already in the final run to the TGT...usually in front of you.. and they show which key to press and what to do, but when I start a flight in a Multiplayer server, on the ground, then flying to a target area is a different thing....first find the tgt...then how to setup the attack... I saw some tutorials and they look like it is so easy to use it...but man... SO many variables / options / modes... Any suggestion as what to look for ? be it a video, lecture ? I appreciate any help. Thanks !

Hello, just to understand correctly, in the "controls" menu, how it is named and where i find this "variable digital zoom" that you control with the Manual Rotary axis on the throttle ? I have a Warthog Hotas setup and I would like to add it to the controls that I have mapped. Thanks !
