  1. There's also the fact that I doubt ED has made dozens of these idle animations. And once you have 2 guys standing next to each other doing the exact same moves at the exact same times it totally defeats the immersion those idle animations are supposed to add.
  2. In one of the recent video Wags posted it seemed like the static deck crew will have idle animation, which is excellent. Would it possible for ED to also consider a handful of "frozen" animations. These guys wouldn't be moving at all but wouldn't just be standing straight with their arms hanging either. Since we are most likely going to go against all common sense and place a boatload (yes, that was a pun) of ground crews, those might help with performances. Something like a LSO holding a "phone" , a guy with his arms crossed or just kneeling, etc
  3. Beautiful work mate
  4. Usually yes, many have a "DO NOT PAINT" on them But apparently sometimes they just paint them anyway
  5. Great job, very impressive!
  6. Thank you :)
  7. :surprise: I have no words. More realistic, makes the game look better and in my case it's actually more FPS friendly than the default DOF. Thank you so much for this!!!
  8. I gotta say I'm not an expert and I have a very limited understanding of roughmets. I've read the doc available but I still barely understand it and I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it the way it's supposed to be done. I ran into the exact same problem with my SEA camo livery, the green would become almost black during sunsets and I don't really have a solution. My rule of thumb is: - Pink/Purple for bare metal (the more saturated, the more shiny/glossy the result) - Red for painted metal or stickers (like the red & white stripes in the skin above). I usually use orange as a base for most of my skins - Yellow for dirt, scratches and seams and rivet shadows - Green for rivets (learned that looking at WatermanPC's roughmets :P)
  9. Thanks a lot guys :) If you want to adapt it for the F-5 or the F-86, feel free mate. Top notch work you've been doing on the F-5

  13. I think you got confused by his signature: "fly it like you stole it" which is an english saying. It means something along the lines of use it to the max of its abilities (as if you were running away from its owner) ;) EDIT: sniped again...damned
  14. The cargo objects are in a folder called "Static_Objects" Also, I'll be sending you those Mi-8 ASAP, sorry for the delay. I completely forgot about it EDIT: sniped :P
