  1. The ambulance works like the police cars and the firetruck. I've just tested it and it works fine so I can't offer much help. Either an user error while setting the alarm state or maybe a conflict with another mod but that seems unlikely to me.
  2. I must admit I somewhat lost interest in the modular building concept once I found out I couldn't precisely place the infantry units. So I'm just going to share it in its current state.   4. You need to link the guy to the ship using the "link unit" feature.
  5. I'll look into it for the next update. Unfortunately none of that is possible with Combined Arms vehicles. While in theory it's possible to make a "standalone" ground vehicle module it would be a substantial undertaking and I don't really have the time or the skills to do something like that.
  6. Yes I've tried that but it seems to only work with static objects, not ground units.
  7. Make sure you've selected the ship from the right category (the ground unit category) and that the "player can drive" is ticked Once ingame it behaves just like any other CA vehicle. I personally have no interest in WWII. That being said I wouldn't be against converting a decent model from that era if it didn't require too much work but such models are pretty hard to come by. For example, that model you've shared isn't suitable for DCS and would require tons of work to make it look half decent.
  8. Glad to see the interest Before the release, I'd like to make a couple more variations of the middle floor so it doesn't look too repetitive, especially once destroyed. There also doesn't seem to have any consistency with where the units spawns once placed on top of the building. Sometimes they spawn on the very top floor, sometimes on the ground floor and sometimes somewhere in between. It seems random which is a bit annoying, needs further testing. i.e. 3 story building, they all spawn on the top floor But here they spawn somewhere in the middle

  12. Thanks. Unfortunately none of the allied tanks are available for download. The Tiger 2 is also too high poly. The Tiger 1 is great, the jagpanther textures are a bit meh but I guess it could work.
  13. Thanks for the info. Are they sunk into the ground? That's why I provided 2 variants. On the Syria map the tracks are slightly elevated, if you place one of the default train it will ride at ground level and will appear sunk into the tracks. On the Caucasus and NTTR map the tracks are at ground level And on the Persian Gulf map the track are also elevated. A bit higher than on the Syria map so the train will appear slightly sunk into the tracks. @jonsky7Thank you. No plans for WWII stuff at the moment. Maybe if I find suitable 3D models on sketchfab. @Presidium Thanks! The wagons textures are pretty nice indeed, all credit goes to the original author. I'm pretty sure 95% of ED's staff could do what I do and since they don't have a physical office anymore they don't even need a coffee boy

  15. DOWNLOAD Drop in "Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech" They're all prefixed with "RAP". There are 2 variants for each loco/carriage: one for use on the Syria and Persian Gulf map, one for the Caucasus and NTTR. Trains don't seem to work on the South Atlantic map. Not tested on Normandy or The Channel. CONTENT:

  17. @Havoc86 Thank you but I'm afraid I only have a vaz-2105 3d model. I'll see if I can find another suitable 3d model, no promises tho. @RWC Unfortunately that's not possible in DCS. As far as I know the only way to add an animation to a 3d model is to do it in a 3D software (3DS, Blender). Thank you. Yes, I'm looking into it but I'm not sure what's the best platform to do it.
  18. Thanks! Yes, russian & european police cars are on the to-do list. I also have an european firetruck and a couple of more modern ambulances for the US and EU. Aswell as a few more surprises
