Well I find hard to believe that if you pull your stick to the maximum the eagle won't stall at all. so I gues you can also pull the stick and do enless loops on the real airplane?

if you drop the flaps on the eagle you can kill an su-27 even if it is on your 6, you can also do endless loops without stalling, you can do a 90 degree up pull stop at 0 speed and the apply full power and still go up accelerating, you can out-turn the su-27 without using full power most of the time...so in other words the eagle is in god-mode this needs to be addressed seriously.

Why they don't come to GA ! Why ! Whell at least the blue angels come almost every year!

Didn't you notice that on the second video the pilot had a different hud than on the first, also the copilot or weapons officer? had two glass screens instead of the old radar display and tv sight. The weir thing is that sukhoi didn't put a full glass cockpit on the pilot side.

The pilots on this video got a nice instruments upgrade!

Thanks Ivan! wow that is some brutal force feed back then! so.. what hapens if the pilot keeps pulling past the aoa limit, does the mig departs doing a wing rock? or it just stalls and drops its nose? anyone know? Does the su-27 has the same system? there is avideo of the Russian test pilots on youtube and the stick vibrates when the pilot does a tail slide.

They say that the su-27 is not the easiest airplane to fly in formation flights due to the fly by wire system. I t does look scary! those guys are awesome.

play close atention to the video, each time he pulls there is "clap" noise and his hand gest a big shake. Does anyone know if that is the AOA limiter?

yeah but it looks like the stick has some kind of force feedback because his arm vibrates at the same time the sound is heard

I noticed that when the mig pilot pulls the stick there is a laud "clack" noise what is that? you can also see it looks like the stick transfers that motion to the pilot arm... Is that the AOA limiter? please look at 2:14-16 on last video.

I would not be surprised if they paint Ace Combat logos on their eagles or maybe Macross paint jobs!
