  1. Has anyone tried to make a custom one from scratch or some carriage to convert a regular 2-way On-(On) switch? There at least 2 of such switches needed for the F-5E vertical panel.
  2. Yeah, someone's confusing the newsletter with a change log. Speaking of which. No wiff of an actual update? I'm particularly after the updated landing gear physics. It wouldn't be sensible to expect ED removing Caucasus altogether but that landing gear thingy for Dora and F-5E (my only 2 active modules) is something I really hope to be released before winter.
  3. Hey, don't put it like that. I, for one, find it very useful to know where ED's going, even when it's communicated in relaxed-timeline mode.
  4. The 3D model featured in the latest promotional video seems to be the old one
  5. ED tip of the day: Instead of saying "enjoy your day!" to your neighbour say "enjoy the next 12 hours."
  6. May I have the source for the Su-25 screenshot?
  7. There's a reason VR *requires* high consistent FPS. You can lie to yourself quite effectively (or be too in the dark to set up a simple test) but a puke is not something you can lie to
  8. The damaged connector was easier to repair than I thought. I don't need the back lighting but I felt obliged to revive it fully. A banana with no back lighting for scale. In reality the light is more of a bright orange and has more contrast at the same time. EDIT: DCS gets it absolutely spot-on as it is indescernable in full daylight.
  9. I'm so grateful for my rig config. Not a hint of MT problems. And the system is GPU-bound still for DCS, even with RTX 2080/2070. Intel i3-12100F
  10. The Lock On ones are so bad I'd be for replacing them with vaguely similar ones Is there a wishlist thread for that?
  11. Even having that teaser I'm worried it's going to be another F-16 case. There's a high fidelity F-16 model in DCS already and some missions are full of F-16s with ugly old models only because it's some other variant of F-16. DCS F-16C was released 4 years ago.
  12. Found the Screenshot set https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/screenshots/1885/ Still: All 5's, except the one on that one shot, are without the "new" antennas.
  13. @VPS_Zen Where is that shot from? I can't seem to locate it in the product gallery. All 5's are without the "new" antennas. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/screenshots/702/
  14. Any new info on that? Any official screenshots?
  15. It was supposed to be the previous week... Anyway, the RC 1 is here. https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases CAD CAM Lessons @ YouTube - FreeCAD 1.0 RC1 - Release Candidate https://cadcamlessons.notion.site/FreeCAD-for-Beginners-Course-5c69f15776b445e6b633be111ebff88f
  16. Dude, I don't know what issue you reported but RC is not happening!
  17. I get that the update in question has no release date? https://forum.dcs.world/topic/341576-dcs-changelog-and-updates-2024/ The update cycle has gotten irregular recently. And I don't just mean the summer.
  18. Check out issues "Needs confirmation" occasionally. Maybe you could help by confirming, with details. https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/labels/Status%3A Needs confirmation In the same way you can filter the issues with "RC blocker"
  19. You can use the weekly builds right now. The RC build is going to differ from the build that preceeds it by very little, to put it in layman's (my) terms. https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/tag/weekly-builds I use portable archives so I can just delete and replace them. I wish we had an autoupdate for FreeCAD and Blender on Windows.
  20. The article says "early next week" which is this week. Nothing more.
  21. one of the FreeCAD 1.0 splash screens
  22. Some really significant improvements compared to 0.21, especially in the Sketcher. https://blog.freecad.org/2024/08/30/1-0rc1-is-coming-next-week-lets-update-addons/
  23. I'll be doing just that for my project so you might follow the thread.
  24. Thanks for the topic. My confusion stems from the fact that most of the guides assume it's obvious where the user is supposed to connect the physical cable of the transducer amplifier to the PC. I'm guessing that the Voicemeeter app has the capability to use one of the physical outputs of a multi-soundcard PC for "to transducer amplifier" output.
