Good idea I think. IMO, what you should do is find a dedicated (squad) server and create&test the missions. Then organize this as an event. Should be a lot of fun :)

Hi Protek, welcome to the forum! First, what joystick do you have? Second, it is quite normal for unexperienced pilots to have difficulties controlling the Ka-50 in a smooth way. Over time, you will "develop" a more stable hand.

No problem, install the Battlefield FX mod first and then the Hokumsounds.

I suppose the penatrating capabilities are inproved with this new missile? :D

Also if you fly with only 3 other pilots? If a mission is full with like 8 choppers, I also get low FPS when they are in view. Still though, flying in a 4 ship is no problem at all.

This outerra engine has great protential, though I'm not that impressed by how it looks like in this movie. It has unrealistic colors and looks very "game" like. But I guess this can be made much better by designers. The terrain engine appears to run super smooth. Thanks for posting :)

Good to know :) Still though, the Ka-50 also doesn't like 0 g flight. Ever noticed the "out of control" nose left+down reaction once you are in forward flight and quickly drop the collective combined with a slight cyclic push? Not sure this has anything to do with this subject, though it is a dangerous habit of the Ka-50.

This may play a big role in the very limited amount of pilots flying aerobatics. The question may be, what should be mastered first? Flying/aerobatics skills or combat skills? I also noticed that, and I have no clue why this is. Anyone?

My advice is to stay as low as possible, other planes are far better to spot when they are versus the sky instead of the ground. Then, make sure you are in a tactical position. In other words, the chance of spotting a hind 360 degrees around you is far smaller compared with 90 degrees for example. Using the Shkval to search for hinds often keeps you busy till they fire at you, so only use the Shkval when you are sure they are at like 10 degrees on your horizon. In case there is a group of hinds, hit and run is pretty much the only way to kill them all. Kill one, and run (they will be in range shortly after you killed one). Run till they turn away from you and then go for the second one. Also, the Hind is a tough one, so shooting two Vikhrs is not a luxury. When you are under fire, there is not much you can do (besides ejecting). Flying at max speed on a 90 degrees angle with the hind will give you the best chance of survival.

When I switched to W7 I just uninstalled and used one of the 8 activations. After that made a backup copy of the main Ka-50 folder. Whenever I have problems or need to reinstall, I just copy the backup Ka-50 folder. As long as there is no need to format and reinstall the OS, I'm not worried about running out of activations. Maybe this is not the best way though it will take decades for me to use all 8 activations.

Great that you don't give up on BS kraszus, keep it that way! :thumbup: What I noticed is that you barely, if at all, use rudders. I would like to point that flying ahead and making turns becomes easier if you use rudder. Basically, that means right rudder in a right turn, left rudder in a left turn and also some amount of right rudder once you fly forward (the more speed the more rudder input). Check the "drift ball" below the artificial horizon instrument to see if you are drifting or not. Another point, which you recognized your self already, try to keep your inputs as smooth and gentle as possible. Personally I think using the trim on this learning stage is not adviced. Learn to fly stable first before using trimmers as they only can bring confusion. I think starting to fly with FD is a good decision. Then you really learn to know the shark and you will recognize what the AP system is doing with the controls later on. For now you are on a good way. Keep giving yourself challenges and become more and more strickt on yourself over time. Every time you achieve your goal, no matter how little or big it is, it will give you another "proud moment"! :thumbup:

Well that is very weird, never had that before. I think this must be one of the mods, or a combination of mods. The mods which could couse this is the "New Missile Trail" and "New smoke tail mod". I would like to advice you to uninstall aircraft and weapon related mods one by one, and every time see if that fixes the problem. In general i think you have quite a lot of mods by the way.
