As I mentioned above, it's hard and long process for me. It's not just about surface textures (adapting only surface textures would be easy I guess) but there're other layers; such as roughmet map, normal map, diffuse map etc... Struggling with all these textures would be easier for a pro I'm sure. :)

Yep. That's right. It's just a note that this mod will no longer be updated. Man, that's quite hard process for me actually. I'm not a good Photoshop artist but I'm sure and hoping that we have very talented artists in the community and I know someone will put a hand on Hog's cockpit. Besides, if I don't recall wrong, ED will already do something about that. Cheers.

Great idea. Can't wait for it. :)

Addition and Update: I deleted all folders from Saved Games/DCS/ except for Config, Kneeboard, Liveries, Missions, ScreenShots and Sound but no luck again. My last shot was deleting Options.lua and let DCS create a new options.lua, and problem solved! Just curious, I compared new options.lua and my prev. lua to see the difference and get the problem, but no any differences. No new lines or missing lines. Only different choices. Weird... options.zip

Hi. Generally I can get along with DCS recently. No crashes or weird problems. Everything "was" fine, until the new year. :music_whistling: Tonight this is what I see (please see the image) in every server, in every mission. This is the first time I see this kind of problem in DCS World. No aircraft, no cockpit, no land, no map. Only aircraft sounds and/or speech and texts... *** Updated GTX driver, removed mods, did DCS World repair, deleted fxo and metashaders2 folders... No joy. DCS.log and DxDiag logs attached. What's my problem? :helpsmilie: dcs.zip

I don't believe that this is an USB, USB hub, power or installation problem. Normally TIR works great in DCS or in any other games. As I wrote above, sometimes DCS behaves like TIR is no functional. I tried but couldn't collect common parameters to discover what triggers the problem. I'm on it... Thanks guys for feedback. OK, I'll try that next time but it's very annoying. At least it will save time for me tho...

Actually my TrackIR works perfect! I launch the TIR app., before DCS of course! And I always confirm the LED light is ON. *** Sometimes (but actually it's more than "sometimes"), I realize that when I sit in a cockpit, TrackIR is disconnected from DCS World. If I put my headphones (with TrackClip Pro) right after launching TIR software, TIR works fine in DCS but, if I put my headphones after launched DCS, after entered a server, and after sit in a cockpit, I see that TrackIR isn't working and there's no TrackIR column in Controls page! *** Anyone experienced this?

Thanks a lot guys! :joystick:

Hi. I'm new on Spitfire and curious; all in-cockpit systems are identical between two versions? May I use the same HOTAS commands in both versions?
-
Actually I don't remember that the high pitch sound (sine wave) when I turn the inverter switch ON, in prev. version of A-10C. In new version of cockpit, the high pitch beep sound of inverter is killing my ears. "Hear like Helmet" option seems a little bit solution but it's like nearly impossible to use A-10C without helmet option. Am I only one?

Maybe this is not the place but, as long as I see these threads and system specs, I'm disappointing and being sorry. 4.2GHz? 1080 GTX? SSD? and still stuttering and lower FPS? What kind of system should we have? As far as I know DCS doesn't support SLI and multicore thing. Isn't it the time to change game engine?

Oh! That's the term. Thanks. :)

Probably ED will fix it after new cockpit, I guess.

I do know all those things written in those 2 pages guys. I just wanted to say that just like in Huey, I may want other pilot to take control (fake-autopilot) and then I can focus on some other adjustments etc. etc. In multiplayer game, if we see multi-crew in Mi-8, you will able to do some weapon preparation etc. I want to do that in singleplayer. YES! I can trim her out and use SAS systems etc. I already know that... What I'm trying to say was different. I mention not an Autopilot like in Ka-50.

Did the Mustang got the new merlin sounds as the Spitfire?
Devrim replied to Eviscerador's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
P-51D sounds in today's update is really game changer. Even closing canopy sound is new! :) -
Yea, I've just tested the sound. It sounds great. Thank you ED! Now it's another fun to fly P-51D. :)

No animation on deers' legs?

Did the Mustang got the new merlin sounds as the Spitfire?
Devrim replied to Eviscerador's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
Yea I came for the same reason. Obviously I haven't got in P-51D recently. Today it's impossible to not realize the new sounds. Will not lie, my ears wanted previous sounds for a while, but I'll get used to this one after a few flights. Thanks ED. -
When you do that, probably you're fingering the ghost's eye. Don't disturb the ghost. :D Joke aside, I've no idea about that but I wonder, how did you plug the throttle to PC? Directly into a USB or via a USB distributor? I've read a text somewhere, X55 easily has ghost problems if you use USB Hubs due to low voltage, or something.

And I, too, want to thank ED for base improvements. I have poor system to play with higher options but, I've realized an improvement on the Role Select page when entered a server. I had huge and very very long stutters and pauses (from 20 seconds to 1 minutes or more) to select any aircraft. Now, my mouse wheel can scroll the AC list easily. That's really a progress for me. I'm happy. :D Thank you ED.

Oh, really? I didn't know that and am surprised. If so, I'm pleased. Time to re-sit in the cockpit then...

Payware clouds? Suggestion? What an absurd idea is that? How will people be in sync in multiplayer servers in the same cloudy area?
-
Yes I did. I think I wrote this problem in a thread, but I couldn't find it. Yes, the throttle moves forward because of its weight. That's why I put something under the front part of the throttle to make an angle to prevent from this. It worked a little...
