  1. I could never go back... definatly must have!
  2. Buying from NaturalPoint directly was still a bit cheaper for me then buying from ExtremeGamingDevices.com... You might want to consider this option. Cheers,
  3. Thanks for the heads up EB, much appreciated
  4. It looks like you did not update the games content... There is a zip file to download on TIR's website in the GAME UPDATES section, then you can manually update again, through TIR itself. Try that see what happens :)
  5. Excellent news! Thanks a bunch for the fast reply. Regards,
  6. How about Canada? Buying from the states ends up pretty expensive with brockerage fees and shipping :/
  7. Indeed, the Sidewinder software doesn't work under Vista...
  8. Using the 8 way thumb POV on my CH Pro Throttle (right next to the ministick) and diagonal slew works fine here. I find it more accurate and responsive then the ministick. For the diagonal slew I mapped the keyboard keys combo (;+,) etc...
  9. Generic Vista drivers will work just fine, got a MSFF2 plugged on my 2nd pc as we speak, works just like you'd expect it to. The only downside is that you don't actually have the sidewinder software to program special functions like modifiers...
  10. Woot, nice find Moose, and good job Skypat! :D
  11. Indeed, CH is the shizz :) I suggest you wait until you can afford it, as this kit will last much longer then any other HOTAS. So in the end it's not that expensive considering how long you'll be using it. Nothing flashy, but you'll feel the built quality right from the start. Nothing feels fragile on it, unlike Saitek, IMHO... Cheers,
  12. We need waaaay more COOP missions. I know we have a mission editor, but many of us just don't have the time or editor knowledge to create good coop missions. It could even be released as periodic mission packs from ED, not necesseraly in a patch...
  13. Interesting... will try that! Cheers,
  14. Yup TheMoose, very few of us in here :) Tu es de où? Well I have the latest BIOS for my board, and my TrackIR gear is plugged directly to my motherboard USB slots in the back. I can bypass the issue by shutting down the power supply switch, witch cuts down all power to the computer. I'm not sure it's a problem, was just wondering if others had this behavior too, and if it would eventually shorten the life of my device. We can say the "problem" is solved... :D Regards,
  15. I find it odd that when the computer is completely shut down, the lights are still on, on both the TrackIR and TrackClip :/
  16. hey DragonRR, awesome work man, loving those new textures. Quality work! Regards
  17. Hey buds, yep, finally bought it, and even though I was very pleased with my freetrack setup, TrackIR feels a lot better, both for precision and tracking range. The only thing I've noticed is even when my computer is shut down, the blue light still blinks from time to time on the TrackIR, and also my TrackClip Pro leds are always on. My question is should I unplug my TrackIR setup everytime shut down my pc to prevent faster wear, or it doesn't really matter? Cheers,
  18. Works well for me, been doing this for ages... You might have hidden file extensions, so your "autorun.inf" file could actually be named "autorun.inf.txt"... Open any folder and go up top to "Tools" -> "Folder Options...". Now go to the "View" tab and make sure the "Hide extensions for known file types" box is unticked. If it is ticked, untick it and you will be able to remove the .txt extension at the end of your autorun.inf file. Cheers,
  19. You can even make an autorun file by creating a new text document with notepad and pasting these 2 lines in it: [autorun] open=setup.exe Further more, you can even have the disk displaying an icon of your choice in "My Computer" by adding this 3rd line to the autorun file: icon=BS-1.ico You guessed it, my icon is one of the 3 you'll find in the "...\Ka-50\FUI" folder... Then simply rename the .txt file to "AUTORUN.INF" and burn it on the dvd along with the other files. If you added the icon line, you need to burn the icon on the DVD as well. This way you'll have the installation starting automatically when inserting the DVD in the drive, just like a "retail" disk... Burn with Nero, Roxio or any other burning software... Regards,
  20. cmeliak, from what I can read in your sig, you are running an older version of the ATi Catalyst drivers. Maybe you can try the latest version, who knows, it might help. Have you tried running the game as administrator?
  21. Possible SLI issue, I remember getting lots of similar probs back when I had my 2 Asus EN7800GTX TOP... I ended up selling 1 card, as the performance gain was minimal anyways back then. Try to disable 1 card in the BIOS, for testing purposes, see if it still does it. Make sure you have the latest nVidia graphics drivers. Also try with and without V-Sync as valleyboy pointed.
  22. Good job my friend , as always :)
  23. Look here guys Thomas D. Weiss has the fix for this. It's the same as in Lock On, you need to edit the near & middle clip values. Worked perfect under LOFC. Regards,
