Wird einfacher als mit der A10 oder dem Shark, weil sie dich für ein ziviles Flugzeug halten werden und deshalb das Feuer nicht eröffnen. ;)

Thats a misinterpretation. I mean that the work on the netcode is that they have to ensure that flying legends has a netcode which works with BS2 and A10C. :) And so the improvement of the DCS multiplayer environment and the development of a dedicated server version suffer from this. I am not a believer. I analyze and make guesses. ;)

you've begun :D This would be really nice but BS2 has not done this. Why should legends do better? Do not get me wrong, i love BS2 but since 1.1.1.0 we have more (mp-)issues then before and I wish it was different.

I am not so sure. :p I guess the netcode guy must ensure that flying legends is compatible with DCS A10C/BS2. And so other issues could get lower priority. :)

Sure, its a great news for ww2 aircraft fans. But honestly, instead of flying legends, I would have preferred ED spend their time fixing current issues (especially MP issues). And after all the announcements (legends, FC3, ComArms), I really miss any news regarding a DCS dedicated server version.... but hope dies last ;)

A muzzle flash effect for ground units would be a good improvement especially for night missions. (A simple light effect around the unit should be sufficient) IMO a nice feature for DCS/Combined Arms. :) would already have been a nice feature for BS2 ;)

PPS: I guess I'm going to lose a few friends now, but A10C pilots should not be surprised, because you can not change your payloads at mission start.:D But during the mission, you will be informed where you can repair, reload and refuel. ( so 6x Mavs or 14x GBU payloads have to wait. :music_whistling:)

one of our guys has a server with windows server 2008 (ati 4200hd). but immediately when we run dcs.exe it crashes. Perhaps it has to do with windows remote?

At least since the compatibility patch, we can see how much a dedicated server app is needed. And when we have FC3, DCS and Combined Arms ...

its such a simple triggerlogic: coat inside zone -> Flag off: 1 no coat inside zone -> Flag on: 1 Is a wolf there --> Flag 1 = false Is a shark there --> Flag 1 = true But now a Ka-50 is inside our zone. And what happens? Of course, Flag 1 = true. In short: Ka-50s have no coat. :pilotfly:

its Speeds Slmod (multiplayer server mod for BS2 and A-10C) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=80979 in this case it allows you to set flags via chat. If you type "-hold" into chat Slmod sets a flag. And in missioneditor this flags triggers the holding action for our ground units.
