  1. If you do get one even for just loading to RAMDisk you should benchmark it running from SSD then RAMDisk then frames etc Would be good to know once and for all.
  2. Just bumping to say cancelled. Sorry folks I should have given more time, Ill do that next time.
  3. Hi buddy not sure but give this a shot http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc I think this will likely be cancelled due to lack of interest sorry everyone. If anyone else is able to set-up something maybe with a few days in advance count me in!
  4. Can never get my head around scripting a landing as you think the approach would be different each time so how would you line that up what would happen if you did land on one wheel when scripted would it just ignore that?
  5. Good idea! Am away to join some Sim forums also at the moment I only really hand around on DCS forum
  6. Biggest suggestion would be get a SSD not as fast but a'lot less trouble and will you be able to see any difference unlikely.
  7. lol thanks PeterP you have cheered me up today. Point taken. :megalol:
  8. I really think this would make some more money for ED on the side, There's no other flight sim out the box that can do civil flight and combat, ED is already reworking ATC and with the Huey getting a slick version at release there is at least some demand for it. Like another poster said that could open the simulator up to being used on civil flight systems as a trainer many many years in the future if someone else does not do it before hand, I can see one area that's holding it back is lack of 3rd party dev's doing civil aircraft and the fact unlike FSX it cant render the whole world. When you think hard about this aspect DCS have done great in the combat field now if they want they could open up a little more to the civil field and if the devs come great! Problems can be worked out and resolved. Anyway looking forward to seeing what happens in this field with the big list of combat aircraft that ED and the 3rd Party Devs are making its definitely not going to be on the top of the priority list so for now combat it will stay. Combat it still stay for the foreseeable future.
  9. Nice one buddy, Looking good!
  10. Very temped to start using this as I use knee-board in all my X52 Pro, Profiles as main Nav tool and to show pos just the thought of 1.2.5 coming out and breaking it is holding me back.

  12. I paid 49.99 so defo will get full release. :megalol: Yes that was a joke everyone will get full release that's paid.
  13. Anyone up for some dog fighting tonight at 1830 Zulu if you're UK add one hour so that's 1930 for us in GMT +1 summer time. Need someone with a fast connection will see if anyone is interested first.
  14. Am really surprised as, I am not into fixed winged and fly only helicopters in DCS but totally love the P51D and have not been able to put it down feels like learning fixed wing in the correct order before working up to jets and such. Really happy with it wish there was more dog fighting servers as not been able to get a dog fight yet only ground attack. Love the way other than engine management the P51D is really Army proof and easy to work out launching rockets etc. It's a joy to just learn how to fly it and do combat later.
  15. +1 I would hope so :megalol:
  16. Only used them in the Army and they were great, could whisper and be heard loud and clearly across the radio net and they were old headsets.
