7. If you quickly press I sometimes it turns on again in time to salvage the shot. Being lower than the bandit can help stop this happening, it can become a race to the weeds when you get a good 1st shot off..... It happens a lot more now in 1.11. A follow up shot is often needed.

Also Manny; at least with R-73 and R-77 they have been in service since, wheras the AE never has been. Alright there was no actual combat at the time of the LockOn theatre with those missiles but they are missiles that exist.

Would be good, id like to be able to view my stats from the beginning of my lockon playing! I got so sick of ressurecting my pilot I dont bother anymore. I wouldnt mind but half the time it's because of some bug.

There is a TAS indicator? Where? TAS is shown in the bottom of the screen in external views, I think only IAS is shown in cockpit (HUD and Dial), but then maybe im wrong - i would very much like to know where I can read TAS! Unless you mean the Mach indicator - which works fine for me - eg mach 1 = 560 KIAS @ 12km, but 1100 KIAS @ 0km (im guessing on that one)

Thats happened since 1.02. In fact I have a mission I made where an f16 regularly helps you out with f5s that are merged with you! Also it happens when some planes fire heaters from echelon formation.

If a player leaves and another takes his place while you are connected, when you disconnect the breifing only shows the last player in that slot as being there the whole time. Someone was obviously cheating. But was it Vox? We cannot know unless we see the EA launch between the last time 'Voxsod' took off and the point at which the debrief was recorded (ie when Ice exited)

Ok, again for those with bad eyesight... If I fly a mig I take 2 ERs and 2 77s

Do not assume that because 27's are SAR they are inferior. If I fly a mig I use 2 ERs and 2 77s. They have longer range for a start, and make HOJ shots very powerful at altitude. Also, myself I find it easier to dodge an active missle because of the RWR countdown (in ru jets) than a SAR which gives you no indication of proximity. Of course, there are situations where active missiles are better too, and since 1.11 they have been somewhat nerfed as it is much easier to break locks by beaming.

Thats the point, you can use it to automatically trim your pitch for level flight, at the speed and paytload you currently have. Of course, if you use alt hold for other reasons, you must reset your trim when you want to dive and climb and turn.

Too bad it takes about 1 min to trim with the keys You can use alt-hold to trim for level flight, then turn it off but still the mig is twitchy especially if it is loaded out light, eg for aerobatics breadfan ;)

Trying to unistall (then reinstall) the game (LO 1.11). When I run uninstall.exe from the lockon folder, select YES to remove Starforce - I get "Uninstall.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." :rolleyes: I have saved my registry files. Is that the right uninstaller to use?
