  1. I downloaded this as soon as you posted it Loc, but ill probably have to learn to refuel before I embark on the mission :D
  2. Hadjuk my point was that it is not necessary to have equvalent missiles in order to be victorious. Its hard and victory is sweet - so if you think the 27 is disadvantaged - revel in it and enjoy your sucesses :) it will alwys be impossible to balance two flyables with different characteristics - the same in any type of game.
  3. I think its probably supposed to be like that - the momentum of the roll carrying on after you release pressure. Same when you start an airleon roll the inertia means you start a little slow. Hard to say though
  4. No thats true - But got some mig29S kills and its the same in my book (barring TWS silent launch).
  5. The top one is a MiG 29A So r27-Rs, not ERs (of 2), and R73s, and no ecm.
  6. I fly both. And MY point is that I can live without 77s on either machine
  7. Depends who fights hardest Its not what you fly its how u fly it. How about 2 r27-rs vs the rest of the russian ordanance? http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/gazehound/7a9b4cb6.jpg (flying blue) i know id rather dodge 77s than aim 7s
  8. Hajduk - EWR? So you can basically sneak around eos-ing them? Too easy! I know for a fact that =4c= are skillful enough to not have to rely on datalink to supplement radar. I would hate all missions to have ewr/awacs - I like it the hard way! And whats all the fuss about ARHs? If flying a mig I never leave home without R27-ERs. I use them 1st, and I use them in preference to 77s, and I get better results with them. Maybe thats odd but there you go - active radar missiles do not match good tactics. Also I tend not to launch and leave unless I really have to - I just dont find it natural at all Now compare that with a flanker sortie - no ARH missiles but more alamos, & more fuel. No difference overall - mig can climb like a space rocket, flanker can skirt round radar cones with its extra fuel, & has more missiles.
  9. That was wicked, I never owned flanker so it was interesting to see it 0ld sk00l :D
  10. Bull, 2 flankers can beat any 2 combo in the game. Not when flown by AI at this time, but when humans are flying them then its as easy as reversing the roles. Some do, some are notorious for firing all their missiles at max range and running back home. I could name names but whats the point, they are a minor annoyance. Especially if they kill you and the are on your team. Also, what does any pilotdo when they arrive in winchester? Some may stay about to jam but most will head for the hills. It is perfectly ok yes, but the f15 is not far superior, its a bit superior to both flankers and migs in most situations. Like I noted above (or maybe a similar thread) our server maps are only incorporating ewr when there are russian planes/f15s on both sides. Otherwise it is FAR too easy on the russian planes - we tried it. It stank. Also I think your idea about having low use for alamo range in ECM environment is wrong - Alamo HOJ is deadly and obviously has higher pk than AIM-120 from a given range.
  11. There are some recent ones in screenie forum http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=12149
  12. Some of our newer missions for the 504th server have it, and future ones are likely to have it. The ones with all planes on both sides anyway.
  13. Yes. It amazes me when flying on hyperlobby dedicated servers how few people bother to use the TS provided. 77th, JaBoG and 169th servers, & ours 504th :) (44th when its avaliable) all have publice TS servers, yet generally you only find the 'natives' on them. Why is this? If you use TS you are at a massive advantage already.
  14. Oh damn I was going to knock you out and drag you to HQ
  15. Make a folder in the folder you put the track in. Name it exactly the name of the track. Put the .wav in there and it will play along with the track.
  16. Well, I fell off my chair... Also I stopped breathing for a bit there
  17. Well, I dont know how but I logged on and off lots last night and had no problems (BT adsl). In fact I logged off when I saw the first post (was going 2 bed) and logged back in again no stress :S
  18. There is no need to use lotu if it is causing you problems. OPen the track for editing by going to Lockon main menu/ open/ Then select tracks instead of missions and navigate to the folder the track is in. [edit] select the track file and click 'map'[/edit] Then select video edit from the 'FLIGHT' drop down menu at the top of the screen (the one that has record track, fly etc in it.) You can then watch the track and change views (you probably need to make sure externals are on in your options). You can pause to select the view you want. When the track is over you will be presented with a save option if you want ot save the edited version with the new views. If you do I recommend using a new filename.
  19. Yes I think doing it will at least help prevent visual acquisition of the missile, wether flying at your plane or sitting on an airfield/carrier. Anything about possible RCS efffect is anybodies guess - perhaps to increase the saleability of the stick. Edit - obviously the white ends are to stop you tripping over it/ bumping your head/ losing it / wondering where your payload is :P
  20. Hey dont feel like you have to do that mate, I meant if you have them anyway :D
  21. I would love a track of one or two of your dogfightpack missions if you have them. Like the one where you have to take off from an airbase besiged by fighters, protect your 3 wingmen as they amble along the long taxiway to the active, intercept a high level flight (somewhere) of RBTs on observation before they make it back to base, avoiding the fighter sweeps backed by AWACS and not losing a friendly :D
  22. Pretty good, although i'd rate it easy-medium with the default payload. Cant say why without spoilers :/
