Thanks for the update. I very much hope that the 21 is a huge success for you guys and sets a new standard in Sims. I would buy 2 if I could afford it however the recent steam sale and my upcoming move to China make that difficult (I'm hoping I can get on the MP servers in China otherwise I'm coming straight back ;) ).

Wow, just Wow. That video blew me away..... the shot where the afterburner fired up looked too good to be true, the whole thing really is a work of art. It may not be a next gen plane but it looks like it will be the next gen sim. Thank you for all of your hard work. Now..

I build models too and i love the scratch building stuff but i could never hope to emulate the work this guy does. Thanks for the files Lizzard however i am still having issues with mission 7. Mission 6 i just skipped but mission 7 i used the file you have linked. I approach the AO, fire rockets, we deploy troops and then i am tasked with assisting the ground troops. I do that fine and then they start to run out of the trees towards the village and i am tasked to kill them. I take out a bunch and then i get a radio message saying that 'enemies are down, thanks guys' or something....... then nothing. My flight seem to orbit the AO and don't return. I decided to head for home but that asshole Marcos or whatever takes the controls calls me a noob and mission fail!! I am getting increasingly frustrated with DCS at the moment. Really enjoying the Huey campaign but with the borked campaign and multiplayer issues it is just not that engrossing.

OMG OMG OMG OMG 262!!! :D ..... i am seriously so excited by this. Don't get me wrong i can not wait to fly a high fidelity Spit or 109 for that matter but the 262 would be the tastiest, sweetest icing on any cake.. ever. Just wish i could afford to up my pledge to help it along.

i can not purchase the game it seems. i have the game in my basket and it tells me to fill out the login details on the left. My details are there but whenever i press login no 'complete purchase' button etc comes up. it just keeps telling me to enter my details on the left. if i press 'forgotten password' it tells me that i am already logged in but still the cart just says 're-count' and please enter login details blah blah.... at least i can pre download ;)

i think you will find that if you just get a new gpu you will not get the best out of it. I had an older s775 system running with a Gtx570 and i have to say the cpu bottlenecked performance a huge amount. If you have no gpu then obviously that goes without question but if you can save and overhall you wont regret it. Especially with all the tasty treats ED has lined up around the corner ;)

I tried Freetrack and initially thought WOW, this is awesome. However i soon found it annoying as it ended up very jerky and stabilising it meant making it sluggish, not to mention that ppjoy kept giving me crashes. I too bit the bullet and bought TiR5 with the clip and i can honestly say that sims will never be the same again. It is a must and you will think so too once you get yours!

have you got the sliders on the x-52 assigned to an action? i had speedbrake assigned to the slider and if i did not centre it properly it would continue pressing keys giving me a situation akin to yours. If you do have the sliders set then make sure that you use bands for the sliders so that the software only responds at the extremes of the slider. on a side note the x86 is the 32bit windows folder whereas the regular programs is the 64 bit. I also hear that the sst software has issues with W7 that drove me insane and caused me to spend a large some of money on a warthog hotas

I know i'm late for the bus as most of these comments are a bit old but i just wanted to say thanks. I for one use a lot of your mods and the mods of a few others and i don't give enough praise to you (and Mustang, and Ranger79.......list goes on) for the incredible effort that you put into making this sim more than it already is (thanks to ED also). I think the community that comes with this sim is the best i have ever belonged to and i was shocked to hear that some people have been poopooing your work. Just rest assured that 99% of the people on here appreciate all the hard work that you modders put in. Many many thanks :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Well i haven't had too much time to play with it as yet as i've been out all day. Initial impressions however are ....."OMFG it's awesome" :megalol: Also, if i ever come face to face with an intruder in the middle of the night i'm reaching straight for my HOTAS! :joystick:

don't know about the glasses, but when i upgraded from a s775 system with a gtx570 to an 1155 system with the 570 the performance gain was immense.

well i took the plunge, managed to find a returned WH on amazon for £200 (lets hope it functions properly) and got some saitek combat pedals. even managed to convince my partner that my x-52 was breaking and i desperately need a new stick :thumbup:, told her it was a bargain price as a bundle.... she'll never now :music_whistling: :joystick::pilotfly::D

more reasons for me to buy one and pack in my x-52 pro. Damn you all with your " OMG its so awesome". :smartass:

you have made a very fair point dok and to be fair i am well aware of the issues people have been having with the warthog. I think i have been trying to ignore them as..... well, lets face it, i want one :joystick: my x-52 is plugged into the mobo and have tried all the workarounds i can find. i'll sleep on it a few days and then we will see what i do :pilotfly:
