  1. Thanks :) Here's the final product in Green and Desert Tan camo, upload is on it's way in the file section, i presume file will be verified and available tomorow.

I just did a test for the flightsuite, i'm trying to make one with digital camo as our soldiers have, but i'm lossing details as i pt the texture over in the DDS, but i went in the bump DDS file, and took the RED channel as shadow and the green chanel as highlight, and but them over the texture, it adds a bit more details, let me know what you think, on right side, texture over normal and left side, with shadow and highlights added. and the result it makes.

  4. Thanks alot! Did work, now i am trying with the hand and vest, will see if it works, and how did you edit the flightsuit/body to get rid of the camos but keeping all the stiches? EDIT: So far all worked, found out a Hex Editor for Notepad++ and Home Fries tricks to open the model in Hex does help :)) If anyone wants to use the strings to change all what is linked to the pilots, feel free, just take out the « SA342_Canada_RCAF_ » at the beginning of all file names and you get the exact file names found in the default Gazelle skins. Here's some screenshots of the final so far, will be uploading a V2 on the file sections including the pilots skin.

Sad, i only have Photoshop CS 5.5, and there is an effect done in the PSD, possibly done by a more recent version and when i open the file, it ask to either keep layers or flatten, the prob seems to come mainly from the rivets layers, maybe a layer effet or something, because when i open and keep layers, rivets doesn't appears and i would need to adjust each layers to make them appear and i don't know what layers blending you guys used. :( So i made my fictionnal Skin starting from Israeli AF and photo touch-up eveything to chance colors and add RCAF markings. EDIT: Can anyone please write down the exact string to add in the description file for the pilots change (legs, body, helmet etc...)
  6. Greetings guys, I'm doing realy well with the Huey, but my main problem is slip control. When i think i'm flying straight, ball on slip indicator is centered and slip line is also centered, i get surprise when i take a peek in F-2 view and i see that i'm flying with the tail sliping. Guess i don't get how to use slip indicator. When turning, same thing, i turn with ball centered, but i get surprise in F-2 view that i doing a drift turn... I need help :) once i figure this out, my flying the Huey will be awesome :)
  7. Greetings guys, A simple question here, which i couldn't find any answeres on here or Google. I'm sure the abswer is no, but i'm asking. I'm making some SAr and Extraction or Drop zone missions for the Huey, and i was wondering if there is a trick to place people/soldiers on deck of a platform for pick-up/embark or simply place people on deck of a oil platform and aircraft carrier? Thanks

Totaly agree man, but what, on my side got me confused is, as you can see on my screenshot, loading 1.5.3.50487, got me the left pop-up about update, which never came up to me it didn't conccern the build i was loading at the moment,i didn't even know there was still a 1.5 beta when 1.5 was realease, good to know. :) We always learn new stuff everyday.

Greetings Guys, So here i am with my second projet, i decided to make the Canadian Forces Liveries, there is one that comes with DCS, but decided to make my own and try to match the real Camo pattern design and markings, logs etc.. but most, fool around with the speculars, i wanted to make like the pictures below, mat brown, green being a bit more reflectiv than the brown and the markings more reflective than the green, and having Scratches to show when sunlight comes on, and some mat and glossy spot to mimick paint uses and touch up or so, you can see mostly what i mean with the few pictures. I've made a little video of the WIP moving the hely around to test the final result of the tests and wraping being perfect on all parts, which was a little job to match. :) Tel me wha you think, i still need to work on the crew members skins and i'll then be able to release the livery.   15. Thanks for the reply. If you look closely at the engine exhaust pipe, the one on your screenshot pointed on my previous post the Kern Country one and mostly all your sreenshots, the pipe is straight and not coming much out of engine cover, now if you look at mine of the skin i will post in a few seconds and even Upuaut's screenshot, our exhaust pipe come's out more and is angled up. Yours has cleared ceiling/roof windows, ours they are green glass. Yours, the engine cover has 2 small opening windows which we can see the engine through, ours, does not. The model uou have is the exact model i get in ModelViewer, the Ab212.edm if i remember. I noticed it at first because i want clear roof windows and asked myself when i've seem your snapshots " how in hell does he gets clear windows and not the greenish windows. "
  16. Question, the Huey you have on your screenshots, is the model used in Model viewer, not the same as in DCS world, how are you able to use this model in DCS or is it possible to also load in ModelViwer, the model we get in DCS?

  18. A lot of tallent on here! How you guys end up being able to prefectly match the wrap on tail parts or body side and top it's awesome, i just did stripes on my fiest one and ain't that easy. never tried yet on tail. This is my first attempt in DCS, a lot different than FSX when i did some a few years ago. The Speculars itself is a challenge, took me a bit to understand and find a way to work with them so i can easily adjust or modify. But, here's my first attempt. Finished it last night, a RCAF SAR copter. A Griffon was my victim as this first portait. :) Hope you like it, i try to get close to the real thing as much as i could, but i had some problem with the color matching, end up i had to hide the Overlay layers with some highlight, it was getting all color light, the last color is a bit more less yellowish. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1791305/

Nice, but it's kinda cheating since you need to know where you input the target and fly around, and taked out all the fun of comunication with the JTAC as for simulating purpuse... is there anyways to get the script working as to lock onto the jtac laser but while using the standard Communication (menu) with the JTAC?

  25. greeting guys, I'm starting to realy like this job, and a lot! :) great job Raz! :) But i am wondering, when about can we expect an upgrade/update? This product is awesome, but A/G is suffering a bit. I haven't tries A/A yet sine all FC3 can do this, doing CAS with a fast mover what was i was hoping. But now i'm sad... As for laser guided bombs, we need to cheat, know where the target is and fly over so you hope it track the JTAC laser, so sad a bit. I would rAther go in with WP (smoke) mark as to do real stuff and not cheating by looking on my map which of 10 target is being lased as to fly over for the toss. But MK-82 accuracy is so bad, and bad, that last night i droped ocer hundreds of MK-82 and BLG-67 and hitting nothing at all, even when close, no explosions, i know it might be a DCS prob thought. B ut sad my bombs simply droped far from my CCRP or CCiP cue, even thought i dive high or not, high angle or not. I remembered back then gaving prob with the a-10c tossing mk-82's when learning, but i always had some explisions or smoking something on each sorties, now last night, not a single hit out if dozen sorties, and sometime my bomb hit places so off from where it should be droping that it made me question myself on cue accuracy. Will INS help fir this with the location we place or realease point in CCIP and target lock in CCRP? Guess i need help to understand cuz it's a bit sad or frustrating, but i know you guys work on all of this, but wondering if besides the wish list if there us a list of official stuff work in progess?
