I know it sounds stupid, but I had a similar problem for a few days. I fixed it by cleaning the silver reflectors on my hat. Oil and crap on them can obstruct the view. I used windex ... :D . You sound desperate ... give it a shot.

I think a tutorial in vanilla-Photshop is a bit more main-stream. I too have been waiting ... but till then ... you can make requests on the MOD board and you get a decent responce ... fast.

Why would a bomb work if it's not armed? The altitude doesn't always mean it's going to go boom ... proven fact. If you just settle for jettison, then it shouldn't go off. this 'hover over target' thing is nonsence. Practice the run.

Team Speak DOES have that ability. There are a few communities using it in BS already. It's just a matter of the player doing some leg-work to find a group to fly with.
I'm all for integrating the VOIP in game though. I haven't found many game designers who've done it well though. The only one that comes to mind is World in Conflict.

I use to use RivaTuner ... but this seems more user friendly. Profiles and settings are appreciated. Would the LockON profile be a good jump-off point?

Tried using the LockON profile w/ BS and it made the sky flicker real bad. Gained about 5 FPS but couldn't take the flickering.

Give it some time. Nothing is impossible. One of these talented folks here will eventually come up with a way to edit the terrain to some degree. You may find more detailed responses in the MOD section of the forums.

Are you using the quick-engine kill ? [Win]+[Home] keys ... ? I wouldn't use that option. Sounds like you're not though.
Are you making sure you haven't engaged the rotor-brake as well?

Good point. Make sure to jettison whatever you can (if time permits), bottom out your collective and get some fwd speed. The rest is just figuring out when to flare. Try it at altitude first a couple of times.

It has a lot to do with angles ... line of sight. Knowing that you can skim the turf only watching for buildings is easier then having to worry about all the vegitation too. I know it hinders my ability to see for the travel but it keeps my cross-section down to a minimum and I'm not freaking out every time I fall below tree level.

It's a crying shame that it's not modeled correctly ... but just like many sims/games these days ... the enemy has a pair of x-ray vision goggles that can see for 20 miles and a sniper-qual'd grunt on every stinger.
