lol.. Omg that's funny.. but i have also seen pilots do similar things with their aircraft. I'll have to let mike know that all MPs or SFs are stupid and need to stay away from the smart people. -
Cool setup man.. My old lady keeps trying to eject me and my stuff out to the garage but that's not happening.. lol
-
Talk to Flim.. He laser cuts ejection seats and builds metal frames for the hotas and mouse and keyboard.
-
Man that setup looks really good. I solder everyday on cell phones and game systems. SOldering is an art form and yours looks good. I really liked your T-Handle setup.
-
Not to bad burns.. Building pits couldn't be more fun. I'll be starting mine as soon as i get a UMC 2.0 from flim.. Your pit looks good man.. The gear lever turned out really well. I repair xbox 360 consoles and can use the tray presure switches for the up down control. Nice job.. keep the pics rollin.

Your UFC is ridiculous! I've gotta get my hands on one of these. I could literally put your kids through college purchasing your items or at least make your car payment every month..lol
-
Perfect.. Hey just keep one to the side for me please.. just pm the paypal info to me when they are ready.. I'm ready to buy. I call first dibs..lol
-
I am going to be getting started building a pit and i want to buy a stick extension like in the photo for a TM Hotas. If anyone has any for sale please let me know.
-
This is by far the best pit i've ever seen. Outstanding work sir!
-
I can't even tell you how perfect it turned out. Your panel looks better and more easy to read than the real thing.
-
I used flat dove grey paint for my civi x-plane pit.. Turned out great.. Check it out on facebook.. look for athomeaviation.
-
Thank you for this info.. This is what i have been missing. I am going to be getting started building a pit as soon as i get my umc 2.0 from flim. I really want to pick up one of your caution panels if they become available. I already have the phidgets ready to go. Thanks again

I can understand taking pics of the cockpit. I didn't take any pics and didn't notice anything i have not seen a million times on the web and in sims of the viper cockpit. So if given the chance to sit in your favorite jet.. your telling me you would say no sir! I could not stomach sitting on a rocket. -

That's suck you got the flu.. I would got just to pass out in the cockpit..lol There is an airshow coming up in fort smith ak home of the 188th in october i'm going to. There will be lot's of a-10's to fondel. If they give me the chanse to hop in.. i'm all over it. I already have the hilton on reserve two blocks up the street from the airport so we can just walk over. Climing in the viper was a once in a life time event so i could not say no the second they said clime in.. If the seat went off with me in then what a way to go out. I'll sign a waiver next time.. just kidding.. I know they don't have waivers. I feel i must say this because i don't want anyone taking it to literal. I guess some of you would hate to hear that my wife and i will put our 16 month old in the front seat of the car while in park with him in our lap and let him play with the wheel, wipers, stereo, and turn signals with an airbag inches in front of him. I remember growing up being 8 or 9 and my dad would put me in his lap and let me stear the truck down dirt roads while he worked the throttle and brakes. Life is way to boring without any risk. -

Yup i checked and the battery pin and was not installed. I am also aware that even with the pins installed the seat is still hot and murphy is always on duty. No i am not not egress qualified but they let me do it anyway. I knew the risks and took it anyway. My friend may be a cop so to speak but he is really good friends with the top brass on base and they didn't mind me being in the jet. The chief gave me the run down before hand and it was not an issue. I'm glad Cali made the point about open cockpits at airshows. Unless they remove the rocket motor before the show.. their was no difference in my case and yes a jet is not a toy. You could not even tell i was in it. I didn't mash the rudder pedals or jerk on the hotas.. but i really wanted to..lol -
If you want the best stick for this sim then pull the trigger on the TM Hotas.. I have one and love it.

No problem.. The safety pins where installed and I know where the seat arm switch is. I made sure I had no forign objects in my pockets for the reason you mentioned. I was also very mindful of my feet and arms.. Nothing got bumped or flipped. It was great though.. The fighter fit me like a glove. The cheif was suprised to learn I knew a few things about the aircraft plus the cockpit layout.. I said falcon 4 baby..lol -
