Communication via F10 menu has only a restricted possibility to interact with other elements of combat. Mostly you activate a predifined mission of an element with a F10 command.

No, the wheelbrakes should work as soon as you hit the pedals or press "W". Try the following: rightCTRL+ENTER... a small overlay on the left side of you screen should appear that shows your actual inputs. When you hit the brakes 2 indicators should appear and rise in the bottom left and bottom right corner of the screen. If that is the case then they function correctly. If that's the case check your landing speed. Should be around 110-135kts depending on your landing weight. Left of the HUD you have an indicator for the right pitch/speed ratio. If you see the green donut only it's perfect. If all of the above mentioned not work for you: provide a track. That's the only way for us to help you based on facts.

I fly the A10 maybe 6-7 hours per week. This flight time consists approximately of - 2 hours flying a mission every tuesday 8 p.m. with my squad mates of 33rd AirBaseWing - 2 hours every thursday 8 p.m. teaching new squad members how to fly A10 - 2-3 hours "private" fly time "Private" fly time mostly consists of time I fly alone or with one of the others in 33rd ABW, testing and exploring stuff we are curious about, developing procedures for the squad, testing my own missions or missions built by others, weapons training, etc. Personally, I learn best by teaching others. So I am forced to know what I am talking about and even after lots and lots of trainings I gave there are still questions coming up for which I don't have an answer. So I have to look it up or test it. This way, DCS A10 never gets boring. :thumbup:

Problems positioning objects in the ground
Leto replied to Stratos's topic in User Created Missions General
I'm missing a kind of an easy switch from mission editor (ME) to the 3D environment, too, like for example IL2 used to have. Or at least, as you mentioned, the sattelite view of the map could help a lot. I read about a solution in this post by Panzertard: klick where you could use two instances of DCS at the same time to place units precisely but I don't know if it's still working. None the less, you will always have to change you graphic settings if you want to work in the ME and that's not really preferable. So I second your feelings about the ME and ask ED to answer the plea for a more user friendly way to place units / check -
What functions would be disabled if the GPS satelites were knocked out?

Saw it yesterday for the first time when I brought "LOAD" to the bottom menu on the left MFCD by pressing "STAT" for a couple of seconds. So I assume it worked as expected.

No it doesn't But you can find the file here: Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/A-10C/Cockpit/Scripts/AN_ALE40V/Device/ the name is: AN_ALE40V_params.lua and edit with an editor such as Notepad++ I, for example, added -- Wireman's Flare + Chaffs general programs['Z'] = {} programs['Z']["chaff"] = 2 programs['Z']["flare"] = 2 programs['Z']["intv"] = 0.5 programs['Z']["cycle"] = 5 -- Wireman's Flares only programs['Y'] = {} programs['Y']["chaff"] = 0 programs['Y']["flare"] = 2 programs['Y']["intv"] = 0.5 programs['Y']["cycle"] = 5 -- Wireman's Chaffs only programs['X'] = {} programs['X']["chaff"] = 2 programs['X']["flare"] = 0 programs['X']["intv"] = 0.5 programs['X']["cycle"] = 5 -- Wireman's Attack programs['W'] = {} programs['W']["chaff"] = 1 programs['W']["flare"] = 1 programs['W']["intv"] = 5.0 programs['W']["cycle"] = 99 after the last entry So you don't have to enter it all the time. Just hop into the hog and find the ECM programs there

Set up repairing airfield with the mission editor
Leto replied to nAyo's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
When your canopy is open, the ground crew will respond (copy) to your demand. Same when you put your switch on the left console to "int" (=intercom) -
I second this request. Would be a great improvement. I sincerely hope we see that feature with the dedicated server :music_whistling: :thumbup:

When in game try RCTRL+ENTER and verify your controller input is ok

pph? Pounds per hour? That would be damn slow. I think you mean pounds per minute. Did a few test runs with the Hog and came to an average of 2489 pounds per minute.

Any updates? :music_whistling:
