  2. It does but I have found the Win keys do not seem to be recognised as modifiers, so any command / control with a Win key I reset to use another modifier.
  3. Not to sure about Gimp, but Gimp obviously has a DDS conversion pluggin now. You can also get a free trial for Photoshop that might convince you to get it. But What I would try is this: Get DXTBMP : https://dxtbmp.software.informer.com/4.0/ Free download 1. Dont flatten the image just Export the texture you have edited from Gimp to wherever you want as a windows bmp file. 2. Open the texture in DXTBMP and save it as DDS DXT5 This should work, also try saving it to DXT5 on you Gimp DDS pluggin it may support it, I dont know.

  7. Good point Shadoga, but im guesing that the line up with the indicator arrows will be similar or the same with the Tomcat because the "active hookup area " where "u" becomes active, will work in favor to Hookup the AC . We will see one way or the other.

Thanks Mower, but we have been using this for quite a few months now and its not really necessary to have two markers, all you need to do is make sure you line up straight onto the cat rail and look for the marker to stop when you line your shoulder up with it. With a little practice its hard to stuff it up.

  11. What is it ? - It is a marker drawn on the deck to the right of each catapult that makes it easy to align your Hornet in the right zone to hook up to the cat. I made this for our Squadron who fly in VR which has been using this mod for a long time now and I thought I would share it with the community. I would like to thank Jar from VFA-113 STINGERS for allowing me to use his Stennis deck texture mod. Its not technical, its just a simple marking on the deck. Look at the pics below, a picture paints a thousand words. Uploading to user files ASAP.

  18. Gday Helles Belle and Rob, I have tried playing around with spec files and colours as such with no joy, I might be wrong but I think its stems from the moddeling stage. Sorry I cant help, hopefully ED will pick up on it, theres been enough posts about it.

  20. Ok thats interesting and handy to know, not sure how to get a fix for that, il do some research. Thats a nice skin of the ARDU chopper. Nice work mate, keep at it.
  21. Working on it, but its a pretty big ask imo - the only skin for it is a dogs breakfast.
  22. No Probs Basco, anytime, and the natural progression is now for me to make this for the Dark Grey cockpit as well, although the markings will be a little different as well.
  23. Ive uploaded the mod with full directions on how to set it up. Should be able to access it in the next day or so.
