Hi Pizzicato, That's a really interesting poll you put on here. I personally don't own so many modules (A-10C, P-51D, F-15, Su-27 and F-86 sabre). In my case I only feel proficient with the A-10C, though I flew F-15 and Su-27 for free flights and was able to land those babies (no combat missions so far with those last two ones). You're right and I would add that in this case, you are beautiful ! Personally, I have decided not to call a jet fighter, plane or whatever, ugly anymore. Instead, I would rather employ one of the following terms : weird, bizare, unusual, original. I completly agree but from what I've said above, I can't help showing those two ones whose shape and looking are more than weird :D The Tacit Blue, an experimental aircraft to demonstrate stealth capabilities. Unveilled in April 1996. And the Northrop XP-79, which was first flown as early as in september 1945 and retired right after. It was one of the first concept of a flying wing. They are just weird and surpising aicrafts demonstrating the inventive ability of engineers to go beyond what was the current trend in their respective eras. Regards Laurus

It seems that every country has produced ugly planes at the begining of jet era ! :lol: The X-32 looks very happy and the canopy of the A-9 makes me think of the A-10 one ! To me, the Mig I-320 in post #41 looks very like this ! Here is the father of Il-102, the Il-40 ;)

Hi Starway and hi Everyone, Starway, I have downloaded your terrain mod(v3.2) 2 days ago and find it absolutly awesome. It's a real masterpiece in every aspects, especially the mountains textures !! Having an environment with such real looking is like a dream come true. Congrats and many thanks to you for this gift to our community. :thumbup: Here are some screenshots I took yesterday. Everything is on "high", no CIV, trees, bushes and preload radius are maxed out and I used normal HDR. Landing at Kobuleti. Free flight over mountain close to Sotchi-Adler - Winter. Free flight arround Sotchi-Adler - summer. Free flight arround Sotchi-Adler - Autumn. Now, few remarks. First, I don't know if it's me but it seems that the overall scenery appears to be a bit too dark. The inside of my A-10C cockpit looks even darker. At least in game. Second, in winter, the contrast is sometimes too high, especially with outside views. Of course I used your SweetFX settings (I use 1.51 version), and I'd like to know on which parameters I should play to reduce a bit darkness and contrast ? Finally, and as suggested by Raptorsim in post #98, I removed the "view" folder of your mod (I don't use labels) I order to make the HUD easier to read when facing clouds, but I'm not really convinced since it's still difficult to read in some instances. I've been messing arround the entire afternoon and it seems that finally that the App in the second link you gave is a no-go for me since I realize it's changing many things which I don't feel comfortable with at the moment. Hi Bucic, thank you for the second link you gave. Are you still annoyed with this Win10 pop up window ? Since my last post here this morning, I again lost some free space on my SSD (it's everyday the same). I don't know where all those GBs or fractions of GBs are going. I've downloaded and ran the App from your second link, and it seems efficient since I could recover again another 2 GB on my SSD. I hope this App won't induce any mess on my system as it seems very new. Otherwise I will restore my system. But so far, so good !! Hi everyone, for those who (Win7 & Win8 ) are bored to see the add proposing to get their version of Windows 10 popping up, you just have to uninstall the update KB3035583. I did this this morning, restarted my computer and no more windows icon in the lower right corner of display. Hi ! I received my new PCB today from Thrustmaster, one week after the transaction has been validated. The replacement was easy and fast as said by bn880, and really, no instructions are needed. Many thanks to him for his posts in this thread. A sharp knife, such as those used in scale-modelling, tweezers with sharp and flat ends are of great help for removing the mentioned glue. Before opening my throttle today, I searched our forum again and found a thread by <Grizzly> showing on this PCB and what awaits you when you open the device. I thought the link to his thread would be useful here, since it's hard to find because it's no longer listed in the section it was initially posted in (PC hardware and related software) : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129488&highlight=TM+throttle+repair In my case, nothing broke and I didn't find any nail... :D Just treat the beast gently and everything will be fine. Now, my throttle is back to life and I'm really happy:pilotfly: At the moment, everything just look like before. Finally, Thrustmaster customer service did a really good job on this. Thank you ;)

Hi Folks, just to let you know that my throttle died last night after 4 years of good services ! Its serial number is : #03797 To make the story short, everything was fine until I shutted down my computer. When I started it again the next morning, no green lights were showing off from the throttle, unlike it usually did. Now, some hints : - No sound heard (the "bip-bip" sound when connect/disconnect a USB device) when connecting/disconnecting the throttle from my PC (unlike for the stick). - Applied their boot bulk procedure with no avail. My throttle isn't powered up anymore, which is for sure. To conclude, I will have to replace the PCB by myself, which is fine and won't cost more than 50 euros. In this regard, and for those who already went through this procedure, I would like to ask some questions if I may : - Is the replacement procedure of the PCB difficult ? - Are you provided with a replacement procedure or DIY one ? Hi Folks, If I may, let me say how I recenter my TrackIr(5). First, I don't use TARGET and will never use it. LEDs are still okay though my TM Warthog is nearly 4 years old. I speak for those using the TM HOTAS Warthog. I know, that this will probably reduce possibilities for those who don't. But, hey, why wouldn't it possible for those using a different HOTAS to do the same ? Anyway, in the TrackIR interface, it's always possible to find a button to use as Cichlidfan said before. I've mapped the centering option to the red button found on the left throttle axis (button 15) for recentering my TrackIR. This button had no use so far, and I only use it for that purpose. No problem so far. I'm no genius, and don't claim to hold the truth for those who are reading me. But that's simply how I do it. Hoping that's helping. Cheers Laurius

Yeah, I think it's clear that it's the model OP was looking for. Regarding the year, it's still unclear ! I come to think that year of production is not as most important as the OP made it. Sure It's Casio Protrek, but regarding as when the production started is far from obvious. Sure it would be nice to state when this model appeared, but honnestly, I have no idea. Zeke, you're welcome ! when things started to change with this default.lua, I had some switches working fine but not all of them when editing this file, mainly the 3-positions switches. But most of the 2-positions switches were working fine. Then, at some point none of them were working anymore. That's why I came to this mod and now everything is working sweet. So, if I understood well, this particular switch you mentioned is now working ? If so, that's great ! I couldn't figure out either why some switches were working and some other not while editing the default.lua file. Still a mystery. Now, I don't bother anymore with this default.lua and everything is fine since I use that mod. I'm glad if I could've been of any little help to you. Cheers Laurius

Hi Zeke, You might be interested in trying this (unless you've seen it and tried it before) : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=124480 I was used to modify the default.lua for the switches in the A-10C, but since version 1.2.11 or 1.2.12 (I don't remember which one), it was no longer possible.
