I've noticed. Partly because of that I asked in the first place. I thought it may run hot or have some other limitations (like maverick eo) which I don't wanna exceed on purpose.

Didn't try your track, but after flying an old refuel.miz (which I downloaded from this forum a long time ago) I can confirm the lack of audio with 1st contact. However, finally I got the audio response (with 2nd contact) and boom as well when I got real close to the tanker. Had to be much more closer than before IMHO. Evil.Bonsai, thanks! Nice hints. You mentioned the jammer. I normally use the Semi Mode of countermeasures. But I'm not sure if I can use jammer pod properly. I can activate it OK with TM Hotas stick thumb push button, but I mean the timing etc. By the way, is there some kinda limits how much/often you can use it?

I've been struggling with SAMs (River Raider -mission). Even tried to climb to 30 000 ft. And still I was hit by the SAM... Nice view anyway from that altitude. :) However, searched for advice. Yes you can. With A-G mode. :) I suppose with some earlier versions you could set the airborne target as SPI ( A-A). So the behaviour of A-A has been modified to match IRL situation? Right?

Air to Air bug?: Manual says (Air-to-Air Employment, p. 576): In A-A mode I can initiate the auto-track of the target, but cannot make the target SPI. Seems like STPT is SPI all the time. If I choose the A-G mode, I can make the target SPI. No problem.

If you had working settings which were OK with version 1.1.0.8 (and v 1.1.0.9 patch messed them up), what's the situation now? The newest patch will not go back to pre-1.1.0.9 when it comes to .lua (exporting MFCD, RWR etc.)? :confused: If you still have v 1.1.0.8 with working helios setup, the 1.1.1.0 patch will mess it up?

Eventually tested with random fast mission. Yeah, the lasing won't work (the way I thought it would). Nothing wrong with Fakum's methods.

Im just learning myself, so who am I to give advice. But as Fish mentioned before (message #12), I think you should use TMS Aft Long to slave SPI to Steerpoint as well.

HUD scratchpad characters and heading bar are mutually exclusive I suppose. Getting rid of the note (ACK) brings back the heading bar.

Question: [LCtrl] + [T] I suppose is a Trim reset keyboard shortcut. With using this keyboard shortcut, is the result the same as with using T/O trim button? In the real A-10C, the T/O button is the only way to reset trim? Right? By the way, I configured my Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog stick settings so that with [Right Pinky Paddle] + [Nose Down Trim Switch] combination my trim is reset.

Wolf, one more thing. You said the middle one is for range. Wiki says "15.6 scale units - maximum range index". And the middle one would be for "maximum endurance".
