If my memory serves me correctly, they are parachute cords, that tighten when the pilot pulls the ejection handle. The tension smashes the canopy completely allowing the pilot to eject safely.

Hey Ricardo, thanks for doing this. I made a thread about this a long time ago as I felt cockpit wear was something the DCS Hawg cockpit was missing. Unfortunately tracks don't work too well - on my screen you flew right into the ground :(

I played fine without it. Now that I have it, I can't play without it... ;)

I prefer MP, but I play SP more (more practical most of the time)

I'd get one 32" screen or something rather than 2 23" or w/e they are. Still looks better than my setup, though... :D Good job!

It has got to be a midair collision? Really strange for both of them to come down at the same time to say engine failure, that'd be 4 failing at the same time. I really hope the other pilot and nav get found alive, although as time goes on the chances become smaller.

Mine is probably about 1m from my head as well when I play and it works fine for me, however if my chair is a bit low and I look down so say the lighting panel then sometimes it bugs out, but once I raise my chair again so my head is level with the TrackIR then it works fine.
