  1. Attention bump.
  2. Attention bump. I know it's a little work to skip forward but there is no easy way to show this behaviour.
  3. Still present in 7570.
  4. Main battle tanks can do it as well. But only within specific ranges. Unfortunately there is NO WAY of telling what these ranges are. Especially the min range.
  5. I reinstalled DCS A-10 and nothing changed. Still no campaign. Here are dem screens: Screen 1 Screen 2
  6. Yep, a bit more contrast and a bit more colorful.
  7. Hehehehe. :-D It is true though that it's hard to understand what Meatwood means there.
  8. Yeah. Gotta have the monitor calibrated! :)
  9. Hey guys, currently I do not have a campaign available to me after the 1.2.2 update. :-/ don't really know why but there is nothing there. The campaign selection menu in dcs world is empty, no campaign is shown. Hitting "restart campaign" does not do anything as well. WTF did I **** up?
  10. Too colourish for my taste. ^^ Funkster, have you been using radeonPro 1.0.6 before? When did you install the latest radeonPro? Make sure you uninstall radeonPro cleanly before installing an update. Cleanly - check the RadeonPro folder and make sure it's empty! Especially the AppProfile.dll likes to stay around there when you have programs running during the install. That dll file is there to monitor processes. Make sure you always "run as admin" when installing & uninstalling stuff. What is your GPU setup? One card? Two cards? AMD or nvidia? (dumb question but gotta make sure man)
  11. Oh wow, I have been fighting with myself with this... But.... F U nvidia. All them nice driver tweaks but guess what. A poor ass brazilian guy made ATI make more stuff possible than you. Screw you moneymaking, franchise milking SOBs. No offense to nvidia customers. :) Just the company haha
  12. I only use the default values of sharpen. I like DCS the way it is, but a bit of cristal clear sharpness never hurts. :p
  13. Hence why you use RadeonPRO to make it work! ;) RadeonPRO now hooks and affects 64bit stuff as well, nice eh? I created some out of my ass settings just to show that it works: before after how my radeonPro is set up Make sure you run latest radeonPro beta.
  14. Thank you, awesome reply. All questions solved. :)
  15. THank you druid. I am currently using Grimes' version of your script from this post. But yours looks a bit more detailed and flexible. Now back to my question: what I am asking is the "random 50" in particular. Am I right that there is a chance of nothing or everything spawning at once? Since it's "random". Also - since Computers are not "random" is random 50 actually 50%? Stuff like that.
  16. Check my thread:http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96565 Try setting proper values to your server. I think it has way more than 10 MBIT, why not use it? Also this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97861 Raise the "timeout" times so clients don't get kicked off/lose connection as quickly. Just poking in the dark here, let's see what works.
  17. Thank you. I know about the "set random value" method. It's very useful. :) What I did NOT know was that triggers keep running until they are finally "true". Thanks! What I am wondering now - in a lot of ED's missions you have "random 50" condition on a "mission start" trigger. As far as I know "mission start" triggers only check once at time 0, they don't keep running. So I wonder there - is there a chance of nothing spawning at all? Check this mission from the a-10 campaign. I mean sure, with random 50 you are probably sure that SOMETHING will spawn out of all these groups... But can you be REALLY sure? Or are ED exploiting something there, maybe the limitation of a computer never being ... really random? Since it's a computer? I am still not sure if I got to the bottom of this. Thanks in advance. Push - 7-1.miz
  18. Ah, the land one. :) Nice. And for "rifle" I currently think of using SLmod'S firing function... Although I guess there might be a sneakier, faster way with the scripting engine...
  19. @ ALL THAT RANDOM TALK: With all the randoms, isnt there a chance that NOTHING will happen at all? :-/ That is kind of a turn down for me. Carefully placing and programming triggers and then they all trigger false and nothing spawns. That is my fear of working with random trigger conditions. You just cant control them. There is a good way with SLmod. It checks if a map object within an area has been destroyed. ED in their original missions use following method: put 2 inf at both sides of the bridge. If 1 of them gets damaged the bridge explodes and a flag gets set. Unfortunately you can just gun run the infantry and the bridge will suddenly blow. :P There is no way to add certain waypoints to specific clients via the "mission prepare" option. It will set the waypoints for ALL clients. What you can do though is just add waypoints in the flight plan of each unit. :-/ As far as I know that is the only way to get what you seem to want.
  20. All the disconnects... :( Lost my wingman, lost myself once, daym.
  21. Mh, blufor briefing, no info on red AA defences or am I blind? I'd love ot know whether I should be aware of shilkas, strelas/manpads of all sorts etc.
  22. Add "allow dispersion under fire" and set it to false so they keep driving and do NOT stop. Too bad that "orbit" or "switch waypoint" is not available for ground vehicles, would do a good job at reducing waypoint amount, haha.
  23. 100% honest opinion. As good as the warthog might be - in my opinion it's overpriced. It does not have to be THAT expensive. Weight and stability can be achived cheaper. But they went for the all out stuff for the HC simmer. So I think it has it's place. Also I want to add that I think everyone here is familiar with the psychological trick - "make something expensive and make it look like luxury stuff and people will think it's made by god". Works for clothing, accessories, cars, food, hardware, software, anything. So you have to look past the price tag and ask yourself - what do I want to DO with that joystick and think ahead a couple years, since both joysticks are a big investment that you probably do not want to replace after 6 months or so. I'd go for the saitek x52 joystick because overall it's more versatile. It has NOT be designed to function perfectly with ONE aircraft, it has been designed to do an overall good job at everything you throw at it. I always prefer such products. Doing one thing perfectly and doing an average job at other stuff - neh, I'd go for the overall good package. And don't forget - no rudder pedals needed! (twistable joystick) Currently I fly with the crappy ass, 2 years old Saitek Cyborg Evo Wireless and while it's a small, cheap joystick I am sure that I do a better job at stuff in the a-10 than a few people here simply because I fly that thing for a year. What matters is the pilot, not the hardware, see the russian vs. US fighter jet discussion. I think that if you were given 1 year with each joystick you would not feel a differnce after getting used to one. Sure, the hop-over from one to the other would be hard but once you get used to it you don't mind it not being what you had before. I hope I explained that right. The human being is veeeery adaptable. ;p Final words: you will not be disappointed by both joysticks once you have one. They both are top class. And personally I would go with the X52 because it's cheaper and will do a good job at whatever I throw at it. Mechwarrior games? Done. Flight Simulator? Done. DCS A-10, P51, CA, done. (Try controlling a tank's turret with the joystick, it's sick!)
