  1. Please fix the ufo wingman AI flying, Is what I ask most. If I turn my plane, the AI wingman inmediatelly turns it as it is a group unique element... if I slow down, they start to go up and down as hell. If I land and they don't receive the order of RTB, by any case, they are close to me crashing severaltimes between them. It is and has been a mess for a long time. At least when I fight against an AI, it seems a little more natural to me (of course not at all) than wingman in a lot of payware campaigns. Specially WW2.
  2. yes.. instructions are explained in the file. All my cockpit textures are done the same way to pass IC.

  4. Yes.. maybe lowering it can make displays fail as it is in the JF17 in future or now? In any case, I think an option in special options with volume of that sound would be nice to be added, so for those that want to have realism 100% can put it to full volume, and those that makes it crazy can lower it. There is no a way of playing, there are multiple to be respect each one. Change values in sound options is a PITA everytime we have to fly the F15, as with other modules (I have all of them) is ok as it is.
  5. Thanks for the kind words! Yes.. well It can replace the default cockpit, but not overwriting the default files, that would produce a IC problem. It is done in the saved games, so it pass the IC, BUT I also ask for a option to choose the cockpit livery you want with a click of a mouse. Thanks!
  6. Is it slower in loading? Of course after the first load the shaders and constructed again.. but I mean that second or third time. Also a friend noticed it.
  7. Congratulations for the release! I was today just flying a little in VR and was great, but when I just wanted to see if the F15E in front of me in Multiplayer produced any kind of turbulences, I saw that it was totally stable in flying. Is wake turbulence done in this plane? Thanks!
  8. About the silent radio bug, still is there. The frequencies now are ok, but don't know why suddently all is quiet, even I have all volume knobs up. The only way I have seen to bypass this one, is picking up the backup radio and pressing the "take" button and changing frequencies there. As said, at the beggining of the second mission for example, all is good, but when asking for taxi, it suddently is quiet, with only subtitles on. With the "take" button is "solved"
  9. I know (it is already said here) that ED consider Persial Gulf finished product. But it would be nice to do the same as Ugra Media did with the Normandy map, and offer a free low poly-texture update for those that bought the map with a 2 version, but a payware Persian Gulf 2 with those areas added. The Raven One first campaign mission over Basora was great! but was a shame to only have those inserted buildings in the mission only.
  10. almost 6 years and still is useless. In WW2 missions with UFO wingman, how many times I have given the "cover me" order and the Enemy AI just flies in front of several of my wingman and they do not do anything letting the enemy just shut me down. Would be nice to be touch this sooner than later. AI is a pinacle of DCS and it is sooo weak. Of course don't use any mods that could break it.
  11. Ok.. so it is an object that is placed in same position as the terrain.   12. So if I understand correctly, the mesh always has that ammount of polygons independently where the plane is? don't make the tessellation while you are aproaching the place? oh.. that is bad. So I suppose it is something DCS would need to change to make it possible in the future. Or did you say that the mesh, is an object that you put over the default mesh? Don't know what is the "static mesh" In any case, it seems that the map won't be able to use that technology all around, and is a shame. Unless ED changes the code for it. Thanks anyway.
  13. Hello! First, I have to say Thanks a lot to the new developer on DCS!! Without you we don't have enjoyment. I am a developer for another simulator, making planes and have been working as a 3D artist for several years already for the game industry. So Thanks a lot and I understand how hard it is to make something. Second. Thanks for the great price. I think it is the best quality map for the price for sure. Apart from the Normandy2 that only cost me 10$ (but of course previously I had to pay 2 maps to have that one). So... First I have to say that I was not very impressed with the announcement, some years ago, of the map. But following the news I was convinced, and after the youtube pre release reviews, I wanted to buy it. BUT one thing I was expecting as HELO VIRTUAL PILOT in VR is the new tessellation of the terrain polygons. I saw this picture in the development process and I was convinced that I would play with my Apache hiding in any little hole in the map. null BUT the day of having the map I was flying and then I saw this: And that is the old spike polygons that we see in all the DCS maps. So maybe I was not lucky to find the new tessellation, or maybe it is still not present and it will be in future updates? (I ask this without any sarcasm, for sure!!!) Please, tell me that it will be included in the future. The product says this: Implementation of new procedural generation technology of land textures and normal map textures for mountains. This provides a new level of detail to DCS maps. Use of new technologies to create improved height maps that result in an accurate surface mesh. and while I clearly see as a 3D artist the normal maps in all the high altitude flights, near them I just see the old polygons tessellation. And believe me I have all graphics full. In a map, where there is a lot of desert, any dune that can be represented in 3D is a must for hiding behind to attack enemy lines. I hope this can be improved in future. And of course. THANKS again for giving us the map with more conflicts per KM2 of the full world four our joy.

I saw that the lua calls the exact name controls, but somehow loading the assignation saved file don't work. if there is a way of just recognize the name and again assignate the button that is saved in that lua, then, all would be much easier (for all modules). Yes I had to spend 40 minutes reasignating everything... but anyway....

  17. Now I can login. I bought the sinai map on steam and transfered the licence into DCS Standalone, but still the install don't kick in. I opened a ticket, and hope it can be adressed soon. Thanks.
  18. Yes.. I saw in a mission with the Apache that there was sticky raindrops that suddently disappear when rain stops, and suddently reapear when start raining. I am going to remove the mod because of that, as there are no wippers in DCS still, and it is very hard and I think unrealistic to have those sticky rain drops there at certain speeds, specially with blades spinning over your head. I liked previously when the raindrops where appearing and disappearing gradually with speed.
  19. It is nice to see new things in the Gazelle! One little thing I would like to be improved is the blur blades spining. They are, I think, a single 3DPanel with blur texture, and it would be nice to see the thick of the collective angle modify as it is in other DCS helicopters or WW2 props while moving RPM fast. Usually I am a internal cockpit guy but it is nice to see that effect from outside, and I think from the cockpit it would be better. Here you can see the blades fx are too thin...

  22. it would be nice to add an missions folder in this forum to concentrate missions/campaigns that are done with their links. In the user files download area, there is no maps search filter
