So, would it be worthwhile for me to upgrade my CPU from my current I5/8600K socket 1151 to a i5-11600K socket 1200, if my current CPU is only running at 60% load with DCSW in VR?
I am wondering the same thing for VR...my GPU runs at 100% load in VR the CPU around 45% andso Im guessing a CPU upgrade to a 1200 socket (from my current 1151) will have little to no effect on VR performance. Too bad if so given the heavy discounts on the 1200 socket CPUs and MOBOs. A GPU upgrade is way out of reach.
+1 for this Oculus user.
Also, in VR my CPU is only running at 50% load while the GPU is maxed at 100%...makes me wonder if a CPU upgrade would have ANY effect? Im guessing the GPU is the bottleneck.
Say from an i5 8600K to a i5 11600K?
Cheers.
Because here's the thing, once (if) multicore support comes to DCSW I wonder if my 8600K might be enough and I see a VR performance boost?
Nice to hear the Viper manual is being updated, I would like to see some cross-over info like air defense and jamming added to the Hornet manual.
