  1. Hi, it works ok for me. You may have to turn the knob more than before, or it could be reversed - I can't remember. But it has definitely worked. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. I think that is correct by design as BORE is a WVR function for a quick lock and snapshot. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  3. Not working for me either. I purchased and installed the F-5 update this morning. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. I think from memory, search radars have become defunct in the HARM codes as they operate in a different band to what the HARM is set up for. Probably they are not worthwhile expending a missile on since HARMs were designed for killing SAM search and track radars. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. I think it is exactly that. Once the JFS gets up to speed, you kick the throttle into start. So, as the engine accelerates up to speed, the JFS is not required anymore and winds down. I think it is pretty cool. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, I had this too on the Sinai map in SP near Ramon Airbase. Sorry, I can't supply a short enough track. This is on 2D, TrackIR 5 (latest software) on NVIDIA 3060 12GB VRAM, 64GB RAM. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  7. Try dropping your mouse polling rate to 500 or less. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the excellent explanation @Miguel21. Makes perfect sense. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  9. G'day Folks, A quick question: What is the "Clone Campaign" function for? When would you use it? Many thanks. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  10. Ok, thanks John. As Pavlen mentioned, I was also hoping this would let DCS distribute the load properly across 4 cores, instead of me having to do the CPU0 work-around in Task Manager everytime I load into a slot. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, that is what I was thinking. My DCS shortcut normally has Target "E:\DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe" So I just put your example text in front of the above text and hit apply. The icon changes from the DCS one to the CMD icon. I double-click it, and nothing happens. I am running an i5-6600K, which has 4 physical cores, no hyperthreading, giving a CPU affinity of F. I'm sure it will be something simple [emoji38] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, I typed in exactly your example with my game location. Did you change the Target in the DCS (MT) shortcut, or make a new shortcut? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  13. Hmm, I couldn't make that command line work. After inserting the required Affinity (F, in my case), then applying, double-clicking the new icon did nothing. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks Pavlin, but I must say I can't take any credit for this work-around. I discovered it amongst these forums months ago, but I can't remember who initially posted it. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  15. You'll have to do the same process whenever you load into the cockpit. I even do it when re-slotting, PITA. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  16. Hey Sage, I have an older CPU (i5-6600K) and get the same thing. I can play online servers generally ok, or SP missions with very little units when I do the following work-around. When you load into DCS, start task manager, choose details tab, right click DCS.exe, choose Affinity, un-tick CPU 0, hit ok. Then chose Affinity again, tick CPU 0, hit ok, ALT-TAB back into DCS. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  17. I can confirm this. Restart of PC, rescan of devices etc. I had to revert to v5.5.0 of the trackir software. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  18. That looks brilliant @Avalanche110. Well done. Can't wait for the release. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  19. Without looking at the track as I'm not at my PC, "Easy Communications" is probably selected, or set ON, by the mission maker. Also if you have the new DCS launcher, it always defaults Easy Communications ON. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  20. I'm not sure of the ACL mechanics, but instead of chopping your throttle (you are losing all of your energy), use a quick flick or two of DLC forward. The engines keep their RPM and energy (in case of a bolter), and you are momentarily increasing drag to settle the aircraft into the wires. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  21. Ok, thanks Raven. I guess I hadn't used the F-14 on MT to notice the problem. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  22. What was wrong with the TCS? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  23. I just chose JOY_Z or JOY _RZ as required from the drop-down menu in axis assign, and all worked properly (using TM Warthog throttle). Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  24. Sorry, I didn't realise I was responding in the F-4 thread, I just saw F-5. I think you need to call the aircraft's kneeboard folder whatever the debrief lists the aircraft as after a mission. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  25. Make sure the F-5e folder is named correctly It should be /F-5E-3 Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
