  1. Hey Sobe, Just doing the gross error check.... did you start the aircraft at a "blue" airbase? Neutral may or may not give a response. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. Hey, Yes, there are a few hotas commands that have changed. Coolie Hat down short makes HMCS SOI, while Coolie Hat up short makes HUD SOI. The CMDS commands are different too. Best to download Chuck_Owl's A-10C manual as it has both legacy and new A-10C info in it. Regarding missions, maybe try navigating to the existing ED A-10C mission copy, save then rename it in your SavedGames/Missions. See if it will open with the Mission Editor and swap in the A-10C II, then save. It may work, but I think ED may have protected them. It's worth a shot; otherwise, there are very few missions available, as you said. Another option is to download "Through the Inferno" missions from the user files. They definitely have A-10C II slots in them. You can customise them with no enemy bandits so you can practice flying and employing the aircraft and weapons. Cheers! 3. I did a complete reinstall of DCE-Manager and the DCE and copied in those two files you provided. I still got the file in use warning, but DCE is generating missions again. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, I'm not sure what is going on. I have totally deleted the DCE folder and started again, deleted DCE-Manager and started again. Could DCE-Manager be getting into the registry? Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. Hi Miguel, Thanks for your reply. I have tried to reinstall the dce campaign in safe mode which seemed to work ok, but unable to update due to access to internet being prohibited in safe mode. So I then rebooted to normal and tried to update ScriptsMod, still getting that "file in use" error. I have no idea what other app could be using it [emoji848]. I copied in the file you provided. I did notice, though, that DCE-manager was accessing a different (older) conf_mod.lua file (from the UI Configuration button) as it did not have the new slider lines included. Yet, I opened the conf_mod.lua manually with notepad++, and the two new lines were there. Overall, when I tried to start a new mission, the F-16 errors came up, as you said, and the process stopped without the Mission being generated. Cheers! Scotch Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

    Reset TOT

I think you can just colonise the TGT and waypoint number again, ie, setting the waypoint as TGT toggles on and off. So, if you colonise TGT, then input 4 (example waypoint 4) then enter, it will be boxed in the waypoint sequence. If you the colonise TGT and input 4 again then enter, it should unbox the 4 in the waypoint sequence. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  7. Hi Miguel, many thanks for the update. However, I am having new issues when trying to generate a new mission on "Hornet over PG.NG" I have used DCE Manager to do a fresh install (ticked overwrite existing ScriptsMod), then updated the ScriptsMod.NG to 20.53.188. No other applications are open. Then I have set the two new sliders to "3" in the configuration file. Here are a couple of screenshots of the errors. Cheers! Scotch
  8. I believe the A-10C and A-10C_2 both have the same EPLRS setup in the advanced options in the Mission Editor. So it will need to be activated in both aircraft to receive the functions. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  9. Hi Miguel, I've just started the Crisis in PG for Warthog campaign and noticed that EPLRS is not scripted to activate for the player flights. Therefore, there will be no SADL/TAD/HMCS symbology for that flight. I can edit the "ongoing miz" file to add EPLRS in the advanced waypoint options to make this functionality work. Are you able to adjust the DCE scripting to enable this by default when creating the next mission? Hopefully I was able to inform you before you finalised the next update. Cheers! 10. Awesome cinematic Col.Boob, well done. I wish I could bomb that accurately [emoji1787]. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  11. Ok thanks Miguel, I'll give that a try. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  12. Hey Folks, I have another installation problem. I have used DCE Manager to install the Crisis in PG Hornet campaign, updated the ScriptMods and get the following error when trying to "Start Campaign": Generating First Mission. E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\luae.exe: cannot open ../../../ScriptsMod.NG/DC_Refpoints.lua: No such file or directory stack traceback: [C]: in function 'dofile' ../../../ScriptsMod.NG/MAIN_NextMission.lua:349: in main chunk [C]: in function 'dofile' ..\..\..\ScriptsMod.NG\BAT_FirstMission.lua:403: in main chunk [C]: ? It seems the DC_Refpoints.lua no longer exists? Cheers!
  13. I think that was the case. I have followed @JeffreyC 's suggestion to reinstall and restart. All is working OK. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  14. Ok, many thanks. I'll give that a go. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  15. Hi Folks, Was there a workaround to play DCE with the new ED campaign GUI? At the moment when I click on a DCE campaign to play, everything freezes up and I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out to end he DCS process. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  16. Many thanks Raven. I thought I read in some change logs this issue was corrected as the same was happening with the bomb rails. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  17. Hhmmm, not sure. I think I selected the AIM-54C for all pylons. The rear 2 missiles were floating with a gap just under the fuselage, I could see the Phoenix connector lugs and the Sparrow void in the fuselage, so maybe the textures missing? I'll have to test a bit more. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  18. @Reflected masterpieces, spectacular work. I did notice on the VF-1_114 skin that the rear Phoenix rails were missing. Not sure if this is a HeatBlur thing or not. I haven't checked any other skins at yet. Running latest OB.
  19. IIRC, when you switch to ADF mode on the radio, it automatically disables Squelch. I think you just have to enable Squelch once you have finished with ADF to make the sound go away. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  20. I just tried it, and I was able to run the engines up to 100% and AB without launch. Launch was activated with the usual Salute/lights. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  21. I thought I heard or read a comment somewhere that this behaviour was to be expected due to the slight delay in data link information and gps updates. I'm not 100% sure though. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. I've seen this on older missions pre-dating the change to the new cloud system. I opened the missions in ME, selected a pre-set cloud, then saved the mission. To make sure the changes loaded, I deleted fxo and metashaders2 folders under Saved Games/DCS (DCS.openbeta)/ Those missions then worked ok. Hope that helps. Cheers! 23. ^^^^^ That too!!! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  24. ^^^ Yes, a TBM Avenger with multicrew would be amazing for the Marianas map. Cheers, [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  25. You'll never get hands-free trim. Your throttle control needs to be quite small movements up and down to achieve an "average" power, the Hornet's engines are quite responsive. You should be able to find in cockpit youtube videos of us navy Hornets making approaches to the carrier. The pilots are constantly moving the throttles up and down. The same method is applied to air-to-air refuelling. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
